@DrakeTheDragon after reading your post I decided to look into this "ads" issue. I'm extremely happy to say that one of your guesses/suggestions was correct! On nexus mods the ads would not load for some reason and when I clicked "Report this ad" it did nothing! So, in my in particular case, ads was literally breaking the entire site for me! The way I fixed it was to simply download an add blocker software and boom, everything works again! The JavaScript doesn't get slaughtered by trying to load and render the ads! Now my problem is that I love this website and may just pay the $2 to have the ads permanently removed and still support the site. If anyone in the future has this problem and stumbles across this forum topic, give an ad blocker of your choice a try and see if it works for you. (I personally just went and downloaded ad blocker extension from the Google store for free but I hear there are many others out there that are good) *Edit (spelling)

Unfortunately I am having the same issue. I am using Chrome with Windows 10 and have tried other browsers but have had the same problem. I've checked in chromes settings to make sure JavaScript wasn't being blocked and I have no plug ins at all. I use Windows defender as well and even accessed the site with it turned off but that still didn't work. When I press F12 and look at the console it comes up with red text saying something like "JSquery error". DraketheDragon did say something that caught my eye, he mentioned ads. I have noticed that sometimes ads fail to load so in turn, could cause JavaScript errors but I can't be sure. Hopefully this gets resolved soon!

I am in the same boat here, I have all of the same issues as the OP but the only difference is that I've had windows 10 for awhile now and was able to download mods with 10 no problem up until about a week ago and it renders nexusmods unusable, please help!
