1901: Nikola Tesla partners with JP Morgan https://teslauniverse.com/nikola-tesla/timeline/1901-tesla-partners-jp-morgan#:~:text=Tesla Partners w%2F J.P. Morgan March 1st%2C 1901,mere %24150%2C000.00. 1901 Marconi Succeeds December 6th%2C 1901 Replace Mr Morgan with a decent, non narcissistic human being (they exist) who's on the side of improving the standard of all human beings no matter who, instead of just being the greedy business minded thing he was, not wanting to share the wealth but lock it away for the privileged few. 1920 : Possible wireless and free power for all, wireless communication, electric cars and other tech spawned from those techs, we may have had computers decades sooner. The power of one or a small few can shape the fate of billions right into the far future, as has been demonstrated with our society on numerous occasions, we just keep allowing the wrong people too much power.

Got to love some of the user names people assign themselves, straight up highly offensive and ban-able off the bat lol. My favourite from quite a while back was "Letmedownloadyoucunce", which amusingly was banned for a reason other than that user name, but I'd say it was the username at fault there lol.

Years ago I was excited for A.I. and quantum computing, now I have completely changed my mind, it will not be used for common good or to benefit common good, the power of quantum computing is outrageous and will change everything, for the worse, worse than it already is, you think we are being big brothered now? wait until Google and Microsoft to name just two get hold of quantum computing, combine that with A.I. t's going to be game over man, game over.

This species needs to be taught a harsh lesson, although billions of us do not deserve a harsh lesson, I'm willing to be taught, just so I can see these warmongering clowns lose every tiny bit of their perceived power. Thousands of children being killed in horrific ways should be enough, but it's not, they don't care, they just keep going, I can't place into words how disgusted, appalled and saddened I am by the disgrace of some members of this species. Now this is not a good scenario, but I would prefer death by nature than by human stupidity, if the Sun was to whack us with a larger than Carrington CME and cause a planet wide EMP that fries every piece of electronics not protected by a faraday cage, this species will have to start from scratch and there will be no world wars for several thousand years. It's not a case of just repairing the grid it will all need to be replaced, with no power, factories, communication or vehicles it's not going to be easy, were talking decades. I can't come up with any better solution that that, it is the least destructive scenario and a sure fire way to instantly unseat the pure filth that has taken control of this species, I'm appalled at how just a few filth members have the power and authority to annihilate on a mass scale. The clowns that have been in charge of this society over the past few decades are responsible for all of this. Solar maximum is in 2025, it is already know the Earths magnetic field is weakening and migrating (go look it up, don't take my word for it) so we are vulnerable to less powerful flares. So much focus on climate change killing us when death by clown is a far more immediate threat, these members of our species need to go and they need to go NOW.

Massive macro-stuttering after a couple of minues outside

A few suggestions if you don't already know them, CPU priority, read the sticky post by Edenfall to manually set affinity as well https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/50129 Skyrim does not do a good job creating your ini's, this does https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4875 Much better performance for exteriors https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/54907 -
Please disregard this Nexus staff it has returned to normal speed.
-
All internet activities are working as normal apart from Nexus Mods. Download speed will not go above 691kb via MO2 or manual download, it started doing this last night, however last night it was attempting to increase to the normal 3mb but would immediately go back down to 691kb. It's not even attempting to throttle today, just a flat 691-695kb which is painful, usually when I have a bad speed with Nexus it 'fixes itself' after a short time, this is persisting and I'm not having a problem with any other site such as youtube.

SSE Lighting player homes
Dashyburn replied to greyday01's topic in Skyrim's Creation Kit and Modders
Not really, the best thing to do is make the lighting work well with your setup, if you publish it put your setup in the description so if anyone wants it exactly as the screenshots the info is there. Some people use particle lighting with either ENB or Community Shaders, these lights are separate from the games bulb lights so if you place a bulb to light a fireplace the embers mesh will already be casting light as well so you will end up with light that's too bright. If you need better than the games abysmal lighting engine then use Community Shaders - Light Limit Fix, it revived the home I'm working on, there is virtually no limit for non portal strict bulbs. The day cycle went from 12 bulbs (maxed, 1 more of any position or radius triggered the flicker) to 145 bulbs. You can set up separate day/night lighting with a script attached to a 'master bulb' then parent everything to said master, you can swap out flame/no flame meshes as well as bulbs to give your cell some realism. If you need any help with lighting feel free to PM me :) -
Use a tool called NifSkope to change texture paths on a mesh, it's extremely daunting to use at first but easy once learned. I would advise you grab NIfSkope and set it up, have a look at it first, It will be confusing, you will need to read a guide. I will try to guide you for texture changes, It's confusing (was for me at first) once you have it running and you're looking at the UI with a mesh loaded you will see lots of TriShape headings. Click on the mesh in NifSkope and you will see that the left panel highlights the TriShape heading for the section of mesh, click the area to be retextured, click the little arrow on the left panel highlighted TriShape which will open another heading beneath that BSLightingShaderProperty. Click that heading and another appears beneath that, BSShaderTextureSet is the one you want. It's a good idea to already have the new textures ready to copy and paste, click on BSShaderTextureSet and you will see the texture paths, click on them, paste your new textures and "save as", rename the mesh so it doesn't override the original ingame. You then need to insert your created mesh via the CK. If you have problems post again, I can really dummy you through it but you will need NifSkope up and running first

Forget about DAR and whatever AMR is, you only need OAR. If an animation mod says it needs needs DAR, it will also automatically work with OAR. You do not need to convert DAR mods to work with OAR, I uninstalled DAR and replaced it with OAR, every animation mod continued to work perfectly, out of the box. You can convert a DAR mod to exclusively use OAR, but why bother, if it ain't broke...

Democracy means rule by the people, the word comes from the ancient Greek words - Demos (the people) and Kratos (to rule) The Australian government has asked for my input once in my entire lifetime to change marriage law, what we have is some warped form of Democracy where we are forced to vote for a bunch of pre-selected mugs, once elected, by force (Aus fines you for not voting) the mugs proceed to go ahead and make decisions only amongst themselves, with no further input from anyone except big business. From my perspective, the UK and Australia are near par on rot, but I'm sorry my sane friends in the U.S., the majority of the people running your show are on a whole new level, our show is in dire need of repair but the U.S. needs a complete rebuild.

I find separators for the left panel of MO2 helpful, I use this one in particular, the separators are all numbered, grouped and in the right order https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/79426?tab=description The left panel order is also important as this is the order in which meshes and textures load, you must sort it manually, so the numbered separators take the confusion away, you then have clear groupings in which to install into as IsharaMeradin suggests. Don't be worried to much about ITM's and dirty edits, capable mod authors will tend this themselves, most of the time, sometimes ITM's are necessary for a mod to function correctly and removing them will break the mod so be aware of that, it is generally noted somewhere on the mod page/comments when this is the case. Do a search for STEP modding guide it answers everything, also LEXY's LOTD and other general guides are beyond value, DarkFox has some quality easy to follow guides on youtube. :)

I see very clearly how horrible they are from Australia, I feel for my sane U.S. friends. Yea and getting worse, look at who's lurking in the future of the U.S., one of the former presidents offspring maybe?.

Lisnpuppy has the antidote. Both posts are stated and reasoned extremely well, folks are going in with guns blazing with a 0% hit rate, there's no use in debating this topic, especially online, people will not be convinced to change what may be years of mindset in fact it just hardens peoples resolve, fire a few neurons over something that can be discussed in these forums humanely, many posters here are intelligent but intelligence can be overridden by emotion. I did a post that was mocking a laughable failure of one of the most despicable human beings to ever set foot on this planet which was promptly taken down, I mean if you can't rip into something that is thoroughly and universally despised by all reasonable human beings of any status with the exception of narcissists and psychopaths, then who can you rip into on this site? answer is nobody, no matter how bad you perceive them to be. I scour the posts hoping for something interesting or maybe gain some knowledge or a laugh but lately I have lost IQ reading here, especially dismayed by a few folks whose intelligence seems to be above a useless online debate that they should also know is useless yet they are engaging, vigorously, (c'mon brother )

Light Limit Fix by Doodlum and the Community Shaders team is revolutionary. So many magnificent player homes on the Nexus and the majority of them have poor lighting, not really the fault of the author as the engine is limited and most tedious to work with, but there's nothing that breaks atmosphere like a home with glowing windows with a bright interior in the middle of the night, that looks identical to the middle of the day. The first time I opened the render screen was to redo the lighting of a castle that was identical during day/night. Most authors know about the simplest thing which is setting matching external emittance on windows and bulbs, with just these settings windows will change brightness (and colour with some settings) according to the time and the bulbs will match, so lights go dim at night but they are still there, with any bulbs in close proximity the light level will still be too bright for a satisfactory night interior so this can be fixed, most authors either don't know or do know that this will triple their work as well as add a bucket load of tedious. This also allows you to actually do two separate sets of lighting for day and night so you don't have to squeeze in night bulbs with day bulbs, you assign a bulb as a master parent bulb which holds a script to turn itself on/off at the selected times (6am and 8pm are good times) then you enable every other bulb to that parent bulb, you can also enable your light source on/off meshes to the master bulb to swap your lit/unlit candle meshes, if your master is a night bulb then all day bulbs and meshes can be set to enable to the opposite of the parent. This is where the tedious is, enabling every bulb and mesh to the master and placing meshes on top of their opposite mesh, lot's of copy/pasting co-ordinates, but the result is worth it, you can still keep your emittance even with day bulbs being banished, they will follow the emittance cycle until they swap out and resume emittance when they swap back in. Banishing the day bulbs also makes the cell go nice and dark giving a decent atmosphere to work with. Before the release of SE I started making my ultimate home, went right overboard with a huge solitude manor style home lined with windows because I just didn't know anything about lighting, then when it came to lighting it I discovered it was actually impossible, after all that work, but thankfully I discovered another mod that taught me the above mesh swap, I just added bulbs to the swap. There are over 90 windows and the cell is large so I had to place large radius bulbs very carefully, after much tweaking I managed a large window lined interior with a visually acceptable day/night cycle, now I maxed the day time out with 12 large radius bulbs, I was happy with it as it is the best I could possibly do with these restrictions. Then Light Limit Fix was released, tested it out by redoing just one room that has 10 windows, placed a bulb at every window, 10 bulbs in a 4 by 3 room, upon checking it looked glorious, 10 actual true light source windows with absolute zero flicker, the surrounds all illuminated correctly, glorious. What was previously lighting this room was a single bulb placed in the centre with a single bright spot disguised as a skylight. So I went ahead and redone the entire cell, I have lost count of the bulbs, there's well over a hundred on the day cycle and just as many at night, revised my whole mod, I was most likely never going to finish it but this just changes everything, I will need to redo all 6 cells...Oh and opposite to what I thought, removing the 12 large radius bulbs and replacing them with a multitude of smaller ones actually increased performance, rather dramatically at that, I would assume this is because of light limit fix. I want to show other authors what we can do now, there's just no limit anymore, granted at the moment this only applies to non portal strict bulbs which means they will shine through roombounds but all good for this layout plus I haven't set any room bounds. I will be uploading an excerpt of the mod with just this cell very soon as a demonstration.
