Thanks for your response! Yes, reverting the settings makes it possible to play without crashes, so the main problem has now been solved and I can enjoy this magnificent game again. I would like to now add, that I have tried exploring BethINI features outside of the presets. Every time I launch the game after experimenting with BethINI's settings, the launcher sets back the graphics to Low automatically, therefore none of the changes I made in BethINI apply anymore whatsoever.I can't seem to find a way to open the game without the launcher. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

Hey hello, I'd like to ask for some technical support. I'm at the very beginning of my Skyrim addiction. Since I wanted to deepen my experience in the form of fixing fps issues and improving the graphics, I decided to get BethINI - which so far seems to be one splendid innovation. However, I do not seem to be able to do much in game after running. The problem: - anytime I attempt to open any interface - may that be upon interacting with an NPC or simply opening the journal - the game crashes without any error message. Details: - used the basic BethINI presets to configure the settings - I do not use any other mods - I have tried starting a new game, same error occurs upon executing an action that results in opening an interface I have already found out that BethINI is able to revert all the changes which enables me to run the game as before. However, I still would love to feed this newborn addiction with a better frame rate and higher graphics, so if anyone out there knows a possible fix to my problem, I will surely channel a tremendous amount of love and good vibes towards you.
