  1. Ive been trying to use the Parallax Fix project - Landscape Dragonborn.esp by stasmonster and have been running into some issues. Advice in the mod comment section said to remove the alpha channels from the textures being modified by the .esp My first attempt resulted in this: http://imgur.com/jVOqkO4 This was from removing the alpha channel on all layers in the volcanic_ash textures My second attempt resulted in this: http://imgur.com/TTgst74 This was from removing the alpha channel on just the first layer in the texture I've been looking around and there's some mention of adding a height map to the alpha channel. I have no clue what that means (I'm not a major texture editor so I'm not in the know on the lingo, you know?) I'm honestly at a loss. I've tried every thing I know how to do. I know there is a way to fix this but I don't know it. If a texture editor could helpfully explain what I'm doing wrong and what to do right I'd be deeply appreciative.
  2. THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN FIXED! THANKS MUCH TO myztikrice ON REDDIT'S SKYRIMMODS Refrence link: https://np.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/35j7mf/help_ground_texture_issues/ Issues was with the endlocal.ini not being set right. Load order: http://modwat.ch/Lanpanic#/plugins) My issue: http://i.imgur.com/FigprTH.jpg) Load order set up through LOOT It's been long since an issue and I'm not sure when it started and with what mods. I tried unloading the Official HighRes Texture pack but removing it doesn't change the issue. I'm also using Skyrin HD -2K Full (all Full files) and wondering if perhaps I loaded something wrong, or if the load order is wrong. Also, I'm currently using Seasons of Skyrim fantasy setting. What ever the issue is it seems to only effect the ground, every thing else is as it should be. I'm at a loss for what the issue is personally. It doesn't effect game play, no crashes result from this that I know of. It's just a minor visual annoyance that I'd like corrected. Not every single ground texture seems to be affected though, just the mass majority.
  3. I know this thread is a year old, so sorry for digging it out of the pile. I found it while doing a search for the voice cutting issues and wanted to add my 2 cents for any one who does the same. This thread helped me by cluing me in to some details I may have been over looking. I dont play with head phones or speakers, my desktop is hooked to my Plasma TV. It seems the big issue we were all having was with Surround Sound settings on our various cards and drivers, so after an hour of tooling around my Control Panel and ruling out all of those I decided on a hunch to try messing with my television's setting. Sure enough, it had Surround Sound turned on under the valumn menu. Turning this off made the problem stop. TL;DR If you're playing on your TV like me 1: Check your TV's valumn tab on the TV's Menu screen 2: If Surround Sound or Surround Sound Simmulation or any thing to that affect is turned on, turn it off 3: Enjoy your voice-cut free Skyrim experience.
  4. Well, no, the mods load properly. Its just that the appdata file isnt being updated with the names of the .esp or .esm files.
  5. I have read several of the other topics related to my issue, and while they have shown me how to manualy edit the appdata file in my NV local folder my issue is that NMM is not editing and adding the esp file names automaticly like it used to. I have unselected the "read only" button in the appdata file's properties menu but NMM continues to not edit it. How do I fix this?
