    I actually looked into doing that last night, I've never done it before, but I was so tired of it I just gave up last night lol.

    Regardless, I finally found the conflict. I must have screwed something up while uninstalling mods last night.
    It was RTT. With AFK_Weye, RTT doesn't conflict with Region Revive so long as that patch is in place, but with AFK_Weye deactivated, RTT seems to override the land changes made by RR under the current BOSS load order.
    After switching the load order up so that RR takes precedence, the issues have thankfully been resolved.

    Found a temporary fix in Land Magic. http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/30519/?

     

    Got rid of the giant tear after uninstalling AFK_Weye, but there's still buildings sunk into the ground... I suppose I can rationalize the people of Weye as not too bright when it comes to architecture (They're Oblivion NPCs so that won't be too much of a stretch lol).

    After rereading the Region Revive page though I tried using some of the patches that came in the AFK_Weye package while leaving AFK_Weye itself uninstalled, and while it changed a thing here or there, -one less sunken building courtesy of the RT inn relocating- the majority of the problems were still there, including the giant land tear. After some trial and error I've reproduced this weird outcome of the entire area still having the Dragon Inn and the Region Revive NPCs and housing even after uninstalling all associated mods (mentioned in OP).

    Seeing as how Wrye Bash is supposed to prevent things like this from happening (Which it does, with every other mod I have...) this is a very confusing outcome to me.

    I've run into a very strange occurrence.

    I've had AFK_Weye installed, as well as Region Revive, Lake Rumare and Ruined Tail's Tale.
    They all played very nicely together with the patches and gave me no issue for at least 20 hours of gameplay, however, I've grown to suspect AFK_Weye to be the cause of stability issues in my game -prior experience and current issues with occasional ctd's while traveling through the area-.

    So, in the sake of stability, I uninstalled AFK_Weye and all of the patches associated with it, rebuilt my bashed patch, and deleted the package from my Bash installers entirely...
    Annnnd, one big beautiful land tear all along the coast with the fishing dock, along with several houses sunk into the ground.
    Even more weirdness.
    I uninstall and completely remove Region Revive... No change. The NPCs from RR get left behind along with their houses sunk in the ground.
    I uninstall Ruined Tail... Some missing mesh warnings, but the inn was still there full of the NPCs -Shadowseekers and all-.

    At this point I start freaking out and uninstall Unique Landscapes and Better Cities to see if maybe there was something wrong with Wrye Bash or if there was a hidden patch I forgot that was leaving the stuff there, but thankfully UL & BC uninstalled successfully... Just leaving the RTT inn, the RRLR NPCs, and the giant land tear.

    I reinstalled all of the mods and everything's back to normal like nothing happened.

    I've never experienced weirdness of this sort before and I can only think that maybe there's a patch I'm forgetting that's tying those assets into the game even after I remove those mods... But for the life of me I can't find what that patch is. If it's an esp from a bash package, it's nothing inside any of the RTT, AFK, RR, UL or BC packages -as mentioned I uninstalled all of the above-.
    If any one has suggestions or can find any flaws in my line of thinking I'd appreciate it, I'm at a loss with this yet again.
    In the end my only goal is to successfully remove AFK_Weye without completely screwing with my mod set up.

    Unique Landscape Freeze - Already 4GB patched

    After doing some digging for problems that cause freezing in Oblivion, I found this thread: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/422244-oblivion-freezing-after-2-minutes/

    This got me curious and I started poking through my audio mods and lo' and behold.. I've found my culprit. My hunch about Unique Landscapes was apparently just a fluke, I later did more testing and found that where I loaded my save from had a big part to play in which point I froze. So, to clear things up, absolutely nothing wrong with Unique Landscapes, it looks and runs beautifully. My mistake.

    Disabling Sounds of Cyrodiil and its patches has basically made my game almost perfect. Still get the odd crash here and there when in the underground of Better Cities, but it's about as stable as Vanilla.

    So I'm an idiot. Problem was actually DLL. Forgot that I had unticked it before getting rid of SoC. But yeah, Dynamic Leveled Lists, gotta figure out why that's happening..

    Unique Landscape Freeze - Already 4GB patched

    Solved.

     

     

    Before I detail my problem, I want to make it clear that I have well over 2GB of RAM, I have successfully patched the game to 4GB, I use bashed patches, BOSS, and TES4Edit religiously, and that this problem only occurs with UL installed.

     

    I've a load order of a bit over 200 mods but by some stroke of luck I've narrowed this problem down to Unique Landscapes. I'm used to dealing with CTD's, at least then I know it's a mod conflict, but the way this problem behaves it's almost like a memory leak. What essentially happens is I'll start a fresh new game, start running along some given road, away from a city (IC, Anvil, or Leyawiin), and just before I hit an area that's been affected by some Unique Landscape mod the game will hit a relatively heavy stutter, then freeze completely.

     

    Bear in mind my system runs like butter, I have my specs listed below.

    Decided to watch the memory activity on my task manager and what basically happens is a slow (like an hour, slow) crawl from about 1.2 - 1.5 GB to about 3.9 GB in RAM being used and then it just stops. So I really don't know what to make of this. There's no crashing involved (there are crashes, but those are a problem altogether distinct from this one), just this very strange stutter before altogether freezing. At points I've actually been able to prevent it by stopping and turning back from where I came... Only to hit the problem again when I try to go through the area.

     

    I'm content to just disable UL and go about my game without it, but I'd be lying if I said after finally building a system that should be able to handle this I wasn't slightly heart broken.

    Interesting bug - Can't sit without falling off the world

    So, it's been a while since I've played Oblivion. Had it uninstalled for a good year or two and I thought I'd take it back up (less obsessively this time lol) again and try my hand at modding again. Used to be pretty terrible at this but I think I've got myself qutie the stable build, finally.

    I get a crash here or there but I'll be able to figure out what's causing it and get rid of it eventually.

    My issue which I have done a basic search for, and can't seem to find anything reasonably similar to, is this; when I sit down, one of two things happens.

     

    1. I sit down, and in 1st person everything looks great. Perspective's adjusted, I can talk to people, all that great stuff. However, I can't get up. More than that, upon further inspection, when viewed in 3rd person, I'm actually on the chair backwards, with my legs clipping through the back support of it.

     

    2. I sit, but no animation takes place, 1st person perspective looks fine, but I'm standing, and when I press the action key again, I run the animation to get up, but I either get stuck and unable to move my camera or interact with the world at all, or I fall right through the closest floor or wall and plumit into the void.

     

    I've actually gotten a bit of entertainment out of how rediculous this is, but I've begun to worry that this may interfere later with quests which require that I be seated, so I'm hoping to find a solution. I'm fairly confident that this must be due to a mod that I've installed (or incorrectly installed) and so my main question is if anybody recognizes this as a bug from any of the mods in my load order. If not, I guess I'm sunk and I'll have to use console commands to get around this.

    General stuff that I've already done before anyone makes the suggestion:
    I make heavy use of Wrye Bash, I rebuild a bashed patch and use BOSS every time I make a change, I have used no OMODs except for Realistic Leveling.

    Thank you very much in advance should anyone have information that can help set me in the right direction.

     

     

    Thankfully I found my problem. Seems to be a bit of an under-reported bug from Unnecessary Violence. So, if anyone else has this problem, sitting down seems to be affected by Unnecessary Violence in some way, not sure why. -Doesn't seem to be the skeleton as I'm still using it.-
