TUTORIAL: REMOVING UNWANTED MAGIC EFFECTS FROM THE PLAYER

I've been experiencing an issue with a purple magic effect appearing on my character every time I engage in combat. Sometimes it will spam continuously, resulting in FPS loss. Does anyone know what this is or why it's happening? It only seems to appear whenever the character enters combat.
