  1. Its looking great so far. I do agree with Skree that the texture is a bit too noisy.

     

    Also I think a desert camo version would be cool :wink:

    We are starting to test it ingame....

     

    there are couple of things i need to know and i need some help with scripting

     

    1. back of the armor is just big there are cliping and i need to set postion of weapon on back....

     

    2. about stats of the armor.: i need to make 2 perks and set damage resistance and apply nightvision

     

    3. about pip boy if someone can make pip boy on the on armors display???

    hey Ghogiel nice to meet you... I just wanted to say that i was fallowing props of original power armor here i show you img.... personaly to me it looks a bi off justa bit scared i justwanted to match it to fallout 3 models.... if yuo got some tips pls give an advice

  3. as one of my favorite forums i would like to ask you ppl which kind of version of texture you would like to see... any kind like digital camo or totally rusted type of texture... So pls write down what you would like to see :sweat:

    Hope some ppl still remember me here :D

     

    So now iam back and as i promised iam working on the armor... here a can show you some actual renders from 3ds max... still wip....

     

    Hope to finish it as soon as possible....

     

    For this project i need animator who can actually make a good rig if somebody interested contact me via PM...

     

    I added specular map, normal map, diffuse map, glow map and opacity map.

     

    anyway after 3-4 months finally update :D

  5. Guys iam not dead yet :smile: its just i cant finsih the armor now.... i traweled and now iam in Autodesk school and drawing school... i just dont have here a good pc to work with zbursh... i promise iam gonna finish it... i will be back in the end of october

I remember this being mentioned along time ago, but could you perchance tilt the helmet back a bit for the final release? right now as it is, the forehead of the helmet is tipped forward by a lot compared to the vanilla helmets. I wouldn't normally care, but this causes almost all of the weapons to clip completely over the right eye when in zoom mode. Sure, the vanilla helmets have clipping issues also, but your helmet seems to clip even more. It would just be a simple manner of aligning the eyes and breather apparatus to those of a vanilla helmet, such as the BS helmet.

     

     

    right now when i finish all maps for the armor iam going to tweak a helm a bit.... you can even expect somethink new :smile:

     

     

    anyway diffuse map is finally ready have a look i personaly cant wait to see it with spec.maps and glow maps :happy:

  8. Neunen: that rough is a sculpture you just need to make a rough alpha in zbrush and sculp it on low intensity. Ill try to tune it up more :smile:

    Bealkin: Yea mate i reccomend you to learn zbrush its fun just dont forget to get wacom tablet for it.

     

    your armor model is nicely shpaed i think with some imagination you can create hell alots of details. I just havnt seen wires of your model. Good luck there ... watch some sculpting tutorials

  9. Yeh it looks awesome, also the polyfow is really perfect as I see ..... I wonder how you did to make meshsmoothed straight parts? when I try to do all gets rounded to me and adding a crease to edges dont helps much , u used another way?

    Or u used just zbrush for that? If so do uhave a tutorial for hardsurface detailing in zbrush?

     

    mate if you want to keep some straight parts without making creases all you have to do is to go on pixologic site and find plugins for zbrush... find one with smoothing groups taht will solve the problem :smile:

     

    about detailing just use some imagination try out the brushes.... hope you have tablet :smile:
