  1. Looking for an opinion, haven't played skyrim for almost 2 years perhaps, looking to start modding again. What's better to go with SE or Oldrim. Pro's and Cons of both??

I'm level 20, been playing the same set of mods, none added, none removed, since the beginning of this playthrough...all of a sudden...out of nowhere...I have a massive black splotch over my Pip-Screen, meaning, I can't see anything. http://i64.tinypic.com/1055dhk.jpg As you can see....the massive black splotch... Anyone know what could be the cause of this? Come to think of it...my Nvidia Drivers updated today...could that be the problem..that's the only change I can think off..

I love the idea of Darker Nights...but, as I don't want to play a stealth character..or a sniper with a night vision scope...It's really hard to get about, on the settings that actually feel immersive and make the difference you want.. Manually aiming becomes hard unless they're right on top of you, and often I'm stumbling unknown into enemies and getting overwhelmed.. So, does anyone have any Mod Recommendations that work well with this mod...or any tips on how to navigate the darkness...I don't wanna sleep through the night as exploring it, is it's own special wonder...
  5. Is this a bug, or a new feature..haven't played Fallout since early this year... But, I only have the command option... Meaning, I can't Dismiss him...
  6. I have a quality of life issue... I'm not sure if I'm just being dumb but.. When installing a mod that uses a fomod installer...If I wanted to reinstall that mod, and chose a different option...it appears I can't...because, the fomod doesn't come back up, it just re-installs with the options you previously chose.. This is somewhat frustrating... Now...I'm about to buy the Far Harbor expansion, however, during my modding process, I did not tick any Far Harbor modding/patch options in the fomod installers of the many mods I have... So, it's not easy to tell which mods I need to reinstall because of said expansion.. I know, it would probably be better to do a fresh install of everything...but, it's just damn annoying...the Fomod doesn't come back up, allowing me to check if the mod had Far Harbor options or not.. Am I missing something...Can NMM actually do this.?? Is it something that could be implemented?/
  7. Hiii, never uploaded a Mod before, what are the steps needed to upload a created character for other peoples use??

The easiest way I have found is to launch the game via the Nexus Mod Manager - wait for all your mods to be Unticked and then, simple tick them again in Mod Manager and hit start. # If your game is Crashing on launch like mine did, you will need to go to your fallout directory in your steam folder. The Top folder should be _CommonRedist, click this, then DirectX, then Jun2010 - Then Scroll down until you find DXSetup, and run this... Hope that helps
  9. I found a fix my CTD on launch, had to Reinstall Direct X from the Fallout 4 Directory
  10. After Finally finding out why my mods weren't working, thank you kind people - I have a somewhat more pressing issue, in that, my Fallout just CTDs upon launch now

  14. Hii, So, I tried to recently installing the True Storms Mod - Following the instructions, I edited the INI files shown in the description, was previously using Gopher's Method. However, upon changing the INI files and installing the mod, launching the game proceeds to untick all the mods. Not too mention, I can no longer activate the plugin window from the launcher itself. I've tried, reinstalling all mods, reinstalling Nexus Mod Manager, reverting back to Gopher's Method. But Same problem, no plugin window from launcher, and all mods get unticked upon launching. Can anyone be of help?

  17. Yo - So - Almost every time I walk through a door (not a load door), objects are being thrown about, like they are just get blown across the room. I also hear myself walking through water where there is none. Has anyone had any experiences like this, and or no what could be the cause, or how I might be able to find the culprit myself?? Thanks

  20. Basically - I made a custom mod, and was experimenting with various resources. My mod now requires General Displays and Aemer's Refuge to run - This are .esm files. My mod doesn't use any resources from these mods, so I'd like to remove them from my mod's required mods if possible. Thanks...
  21. I recently switching over to MO, but am now having problems in CK that I didn't have when using NMM I assume this is due the fact that mods are isolated. I'm trying to create a custom race - but I can't get them to recognize hair and eye mods like Appachi and Eyes of Beauty. The hairs and eyes are set up to apply to all non beast races, but for some reason doesn't show on mine - Not a beast race. I can edit each individual hair, duplicate, rename and then edit the race to apply only to mine, this will work. However, this will require me to edit every single hair style and every single eye. This is beyond tedious - I've already had to do that with skin textures, form lists etc, due to MO isolation. Is there a way around this???
  22. Can't get an answer anywhere so I'll try here.. Can't get the patcher to worker in MO.. Using normal PaMa with MO instructions and the correct Java I'm getting the message - Can't import custom Patch/Mod.. I was getting Heapspace issues as well. Both the .bat files 32bit and 64 bit give me Nullpoint Error - Even on Vanilla Skyrim - So it's not a mod issue. I've done a fresh install of skyrim and still doesn't work. I tried using Pcapp - Followed the vidoes - created a Merged patch and a bash patch - Then Ran PaMa - This time, when the progress has reached - importing .esp - I get a blank message window and the whole process crashes. Any help would be great, thanks
