  1. This is such great news - forward thinking and a perfect choice for it. I know it will almost certainly mean reinstalling again, but I think the payoff is so worth it. Here's hoping the new coding will allow integrating some more advanced features like mod-merges, 'bashed patches' etc directly into the new manager.
  2. Legendary Fog Crawler is probably the toughest fight in the game, but as has been said, nothing attacks well without legs, and my favorite weapon is my fully upgraded .45 combat rifle with explosive legendary (perked for autofire and explosives, does crazy damage). It works well on removing appendages (including my own when a follower crosses right in front of my autofire-I dont care for power armor usually).
  3. FYI - I think if you go to the Big Picture ui in steam you can still turn off automatic updates.
  4. also - from my last couple of days experience, if that is not the LATEST minuteman overhaul update, it will not play well with the latest Beth patch. Make sure what you keep is updated stuff.
  5. No Idea. I've been trying to figure out where my furniture tab went. Settlements without beds - no happys. Almost has to be a radical shift in how they do menus at Bethesda that's gone at odds with a running script. If you're reinstalling from scratch, might try making sure your old .ini file is deleted, move all saves to a backup folder so you dont reload your problem, and reboot your system to clear anything cache before reinstalling. Then verify game cache with steam before play, and run the game without mods first, to make sure it is working as intended before reloading updated mods a few at the time & rechecking.
  6. I am so frustrated by this. My game is heavily modded, but normally runs smoothly. Then they drop this patch on us and everything is borked beyond recovery. I spent 2 days updating everything & then deactivating mod after mod, trying to get past the ctd at the opening window. Finally found the culprit was a conflict with the minutemen overhaul, got it fixed and reloaded, player happily for a couple of hours til I almost have the visitor's Center in Far Harbor ready for occupation, and realize my build menu has somehow lost the furniture tab, so I can't put beds in. After all day of trying to find & fix, I'm about ready to scrap the whole thing. I have tried rolling back a few hours of saves to no avail. Finally able to get a full menu again by going all the way back to start, before I installed SKI. Since uninstalling such core mods is almost certain to cause permanent issues, looks like I have no choice but to toss out weeks of game progress, start over with SKE instead, and try to work out a solid mod order under that. That will maybe be good until the next Beth patch... Maybe I'll just go back to Skyrim/FONV until they decide this is stable.
  7. I totallee hate it when someone completely blows the dunmer accent. it should really be much more like a cross between ancient gaelic & valley girl. ((edit - btw: so grateful to everyone who put so much into this product - thx!))
  8. as long as there are sharks with frikkin lazer beams on their heads.
  9. Personally, I have FO3, NV & FO4 all loaded and play them almost daily (mostly FO3 the last week) so I check the Nexus daily to see what's new - I love how a good mod can change the game.
