felt like we need more hat mods, what since i've gotten bored of the vanilla hats. anyone up for the challenge?
-
If you're using Nexus Mod Manager, you'll have to reenable plugins anytime the mods are modified. actually.....that somehow did the trick btw, heard about some ppl having problems with the game disabling their mods every time they start it up, if they enable it thru modnet
-
Actually, I've never been in any Steam beta ever. also, I will now link the thread I made in the bethesda forum so you guys can help me figure out what those wussies in there are trying to say beyond the current arguement between "bethesda knows mod management than 3rd party MMs" and "screw you fancypants I've been using NMM longer than this junk modnet ever existed" https://community.bethesda.net/message/64760#64760

Can we have GIFs as the profile pic? Just curious, since some forums can, and some forums can't

Okay I asked around the Bethesda Fallout4 forum. They said you have to re-enable the mod plugins thru the Bethesda modnet (Mods section). I tried it. The game finally recognises that there are mods, but it kind of CTD'd in the load screen (I got directed to my desktop, and the game went into a limbo that I shut down with Task Manager). My opinion, Bethesda had redirected (somehow) the game to look for mods in the new "mods" file in the Steam game files. Maybe we need to fix the ini files again?

oh ya? which list, the file name or description =D The list that's been available on the CBBE mod page for the past three years. Not sure wht you mean. I look up for "CBBE HA" on the filename and the first page is filled with bikinis =v -
I'm not particularly looking for immersion in this case. I just need something easy, quick, and doesn't increase my chance of a CTD mid-dungeon because admit it, that sucks. Magelight, nyeh maybe if i'm THAT lazy lolz

Huh ok, will check it out. in the meantime, what's better? Quick Light or Wearable Lanterns? heard some kinda arguement abt that

oh ya? which list, the file name or description =D Link pls. I won't bother if it's not NMM or a manual install since i got around 60+ active mods. You can imagine how much of a headache it'll be if it's a manual (done it first hand with TF2 modding back then. was a nightmare to track.) -
Looking for a mod that's supposed to function like Quick Light, which is to give me a portable light source. Since I'm using Purity, the nights can be REALLY dark, which I like, but my eyes don't since I have to squint really hard. Quick Light didn't work for me. I never managed to figure out which button is the so-called "activation button", and it didn't help that the mod page was vague at best about it. Preferably something that doesn't take up one hand slot. That way I can still bonk people with my shield without having to exchange it for a light source/torch

@Burnspot so in short, Bethesda screwed up? Boy am I glad it's not me who screwed up. Last time my mods stopped working, it's because I didn't know an eye mod I previously used was no longer supported due to some kinda file clash/error-thingy guess I'll just wait for the patch. Cut some slack off Fallout. Maybe I should go back to Skyrim for the moment XD

It's that time again where the Bethesda update screwed up the mods and crashed my game. Apparently my game doesn't detect any of my mods (even after i update all my mods including Armorsmith and AWKCR). when i try re-installing one of them (an eye mod), it crashed. These are my crash logs (can't attach, so i copied them all): I'm considering a full reinstall. should i?

Ha Ha Ha. Unfortunately for you, I have the Merta Blackrose already installed long ago. I'd say Dragonbone Barbarian and Dragonbone Marauder has the "HUGE" shoulders. I already have enough overly slooty armor mods for now. I'm looking for something more practical-looking, but not to the point of vanilla armor (very not flattening) this is one of the examples i'm looking for : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19665/? normally i'd stick with it, but the lack of HDT in this set makes it less fun to look at. no one likes to look at statue tits =v -
Looking for CBBE heavy-looking armor. something that looks tanky but still feminine. Got any suggestion on where I should look?

DO you know what mods are affected?
-
UPDATE: I found the offending mod! It's "Eyes of Perfection", and it has been confirmed to CTD by other users reporting in the mod page Apparently one of its eye colour files is causing the crash. Removing it (or replacing it with another eye mod) should fix it
-
After some tinkering around with my mods, it seems that the mod We Are The Minutemen contributes to the crashes (since i'm no longer getting immediate crashes, only crashing after few seconds now). However, the problem isn't fixed entirely. What I can confirm does not make crashes (after numerous disabling, starting fallout, getting crashed, and enabling): -Idiot Savant to Idiot s!@£ -Maxton's battlecoat -Perverted perks -Honest Abe's armors and red dress -CBBE and bodyslide (caliente and ousnius swore that CBBE is already stable) -RXL collars and cbbe conversions
-
Might help other ppl, but I never heard of that mod until now, much less actually use it, so that's not what's causing my CTDs here.
-
ugh fine

The crash happensafter loading a save, so it's definetly AFTER the main menu. Also, i've checked the plugin list and i don't see any reds/oranges in the list. i haave disabled all the latest mods (except the CBBE upgrade. Caliente's group has sworn that CBBE is stable as long as you don't use the alpha Physics body, which i'm not using), and run fallout without the latest mods installed/upgraded (as of the crash). fallout still crashed I DO suspect that one of my newer mods is causing the crash, but i'm not sure which one since nothing changed after disabling them. here's the list: -Bodyslide -CBBE Vanilla outfits by Caliente -We Are The Minutemen -RustyXXL's quick and dirty CBBE conversions -perverted perks -idiot savant to idiot s!@£ and yes, i'm a shadman fan
-
As i said above, i did try to reverse install the mods that are either freshly installed or updated when the crashes started, and no improvements were observed. older saves did not fix the problem, so it's definetly not a corrupted save
-
Update: -yes i have tried re-enabling ALL the mods. -the game now crashes immediately after it loads, so now i absolutely cannot see anything anymore -the only other mod i installed aroudn the time fallout starts CTD-ing was an Idiot Savant mod and a perk mod. both have been reinstalled. game still crashes
