  1. That part of the VR version is better IMO since they can't take the camera away from the player theres no change to perspective when using a workbench or cooking station. so you stay in first person. Has no one made a mod that disables those animations?
  2. Hi guys, I would love an alternate enter/exit power armour animation that doesn't take you out of first person. I mostly want this for the VR version of the game but see no reason why it wouldn't work just fine on the flat version ether. The VR version of entering and exiting power armour is total crap, as to say basically there is none. When you go to enter power armour in VR you are snaped into it (or teleported if that makes more sense), then when exiting you are just snapped back out with a power armour furniture model just appearing in front of you, it just sucks. :( I would like to be able to see it work like this. 1 click the activation button on the back which would just play the power armour opening animation leaving the furniture model static until further player action. 2 player clicks a second activation button that actually puts the player in the armour, however, the player is immobile while the power armour closing animation sound effect finishes, on exiting: 1 when clicking the exit option in game the player is immobile while the power armour opening sound effect plays 2 player is exited from the power armour, an open power armour model snaps in front of the player. 3 after a few seconds open power armour model plays the closing animation. not sure how possible this is but keeping my fingers crossed. figured I'd post this if anyone who actually has the skills to do this was interested. If not I'll make it happen someday, the VR version of the game is a lazy port and could use some actually VR features that I think are possible threw modding I just have to learn how to mod first lol......it may be a while.
  3. Hello, I am not new to Mods or the Community, but I am new to Complex modding (if what I'm asking can even be called that). Iv watched a handful of tutorials and searched for many more but I can't seem to piece it together or find a Tutorial that can that explains what I want to do, or if there was one and I just didn't grasb it, not sure. Basically, I'm trying to have a script run when I equip an item or read a note. More specifically I'm trying to have the RaceMenu or Looks Menu open when I equip a ring or when I read a note. I'm actually trying to do this for the FO4VR because there is no way to see your self without typing in a console command ATM. I'm hoping I can eventually Mod in some improvements for the VR versions of the game. It is unfortunately a very weak port. If anyone can point me in the right direction of some tutorials that might be more focused on what I'm trying to do that would be wonderful, or maybe some examples to work off of. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help me out.
  4. Hello all, Despite a lot of performance issues, i've been loving Fallout 4 VR. However one of my biggest issues is some of the weapon model sizes, they can look ridiculously too big. I never noticed this in flat F04 but in VR its very bad in some cases. So what do i need to do to resize some of the weapon models? I am very green when it comes to moding. I know some creation kit basics and thats about it. can this be done in the creation kit? do i need other tools/programs? am i in over my head? any help and guidance would be greatly appreciated.

  6. I like your line of thinking, very asymmetrical hehehe. "Horadaric-Cube pocket-dimension-y " style stuff huh. assuming you don't want to model all said carried things on the power-armor like "wearable junk/weapons' / "human-magnet" cartoon style... yes, it is possible to use a power-armor frame to carry things... look at how the JunkJet functions (and, "Junkjet inside a junkjet...-ception) Method: clone a junkjet, console-command weld the junkjet to a power-armor torso, toggle opacity of the JunkJet. Done. it's a hidden container reference... you can then put items into that container etc. Or, consider the PowerArmor Companion mod, which also has such hidden-container refs, or, the "TARDIS" mobile companion-settlement, (that's a rectangular prism with a "just-in-time/from menu" door-portal...) or, RuadHan/Pra's Teleportal stuff... Any Door To AnyWhere, you name it. Some folks have also made custom Power Armor torsos with containers lashed to a raider torso by chains and rope, to be like a "cargo-carry model", which is perma-stuck at class A/ weak-end torso. Likewise, someone made an 'auto-looter' which is a weightless-junkjet which, when 'fired', will auto-loot the stuff in the cone of 'firing"... oh that is some good ideas, thank you! think im going to try and figure out that junk jet trick trying to do this with FO4 VR mostly and i tried to us the power armor autopilot and its a no go in vr. cant use any mod that relies on the script extender :( do you happen to Know if anyone has published a cargo carry model on nexus? thanks again!!!
  7. Is it possible to edit the power armor frame inventory so it can carry any item, not just armor pieces and power cores. I really want to use the power armor like a mobile container in survival mode. is this possible in creation kit? please forgive me I am a complete noob with this stuff. thanks,
