So, I have been having Skyrim crashes for a while now. Sometimes these crashes can occur about an hour into a session or about 5 minutes. The game was still playable at this point. However, recently I have been having crashes every time I sleep. This problem is more annoying! I've got some mods installed. Alright, so I have one save file that works fine, no crashes at all when I load it. However when I try and start a new game, I click new and all of menu vanishes. The logo is still there and the music. So I tried to fix it first by doing the obvious and that is disable all the mods, and Huzzah it worked. Now I don't know what to do next because I want to play with all of the mods but I don't have a way to pin point the mod causing the problem. I have ran boss and Tes5edit but neither of them detect a problem. By the way I have downloaded the Bethesda HD dlc but got rid of it as it wasn't as good as some of the HD mods. I got rid of it by unticking the HD texture boxes on the nexus, is this what is causing the problem? I say this as I think the problem started to happen after I installed it. Hey does anyone know how to change the graphics adapter in Skyrim. It just come up with the crappy intel one and I have a NVIDIA GEFORCE 755M installed. I have tried the normal way (going through the NVIDIA control panel and selecting NVIDIA graphics on Skyrim) but that didn't work. I have also changed the SD3Device on the Skyrim prefs notepad to my NVIDIA graphics card but it just changes back every time I run Skyrim .
