  1. There's one hostile orc fort in the game, as someone who came from a Tolkien background to fantasy, I want to kill orcs, lots of them. Civilized orcs are great, and there's enough of them in Skyrim, too many tbh! But It would be awesome if there were also Orcs raiding, replacing a bunch of the basic random bandit forts with hostile orc populations, turn a couple orc strongholds that don't have major quest requirements hostile. I haven't the time to learn how to try and do this myself, but figured I would throw it out there. Orcs are supposed to be hostile and barbaric, half the orc female followers list their mother being raped as their backstory. But where are these vicious fearsome orcs killing weaker races on sight and taking what they need to survive from a hostile environment. Sure I could run about slaughtering orc stronghold populations, but I feel this would be gamebreaking. Replacing fort populations with them though, adding Strong patrols of heavily armed orc raiders. This is something that I would love to see, but is beyond my ability to create. For a talented modder's consideration.
  2. In case anyone else has this problem as well. I found a suggestion somewhere in my hours of research, don;t know who orig did this but I'll pass it on. It seems .75 throws corrupt esp's. Since the only other version up is .67 I created an esp for both npc's I wanted to mod with .67, then installed .75 and only loaded the BSA from it. It's possible to continue tweeking the bsa file with 75, so long as you don't load the esp from it. I'm hoping the mod creator comes back at some point or, someone gets permission to take over this mod. But until then, or until the next path this seems to be working.
  3. No it isn't, but it was working 4 days ago with no difficulties. And as far as I understand 1.8 is a month old.
  4. So I recently wiped my computer and lost all my files. Bad week so far. I have finally got the PC back up and running smooth so it's time to reinstall Skyrim and get the modest list of mods back up and running. I don't have Dawnguard or any intent to get it soon. My Issue is every time I load an .esp file created by NPC Editor .75.etc, the only complete one available now. It corrupts the save files and the character creation menu, replacing my characters race, Redguard with two empty boxes reminiscent of the old font wingdings, and every race name with similar odd font junk in the creation menu. This CTD's all saved games upon load attempt, when it doesn't just CTD upon hitting play. I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled Skyrim multiple times over the past 3 days, the last time going so far as to uninstall Steam client. I have tried loading only Belles better females and natural eyes which is my bare minimum for making Dunmer in this game palateable, and then installing npc edit with no other mods installed and it still Corrupts and CTD's. I used NPC Edit frequently to edit in game NPC's for the greater part of the past year and it was working perfectly up until the computer crash. I've even gone so far as to download the Creation Kit to make the same modifications, watching tutorials and pouring over forums for hours, only to run into a mess of other bugs caused by the kit, and be unable to do things as simple as adding a lip collor to the NPC's face attributes. I'm just trying to get my Skyrim back into the working order it was in pre PC wreck. And I've reached the end of my patience. Any suggestions?
