  1. I found a solution... create a text file called Starfield.ccc and put it in your Starfield game folder with these contents: Starfield.esm BlueprintShips-Starfield.esm SFBGS007.esm SFBGS008.esm SFBGS006.esm SFBGS003.esm SFBGS004.esm
  2. Using Vortex 1.12.3 does not save the load order position of SFBGS004.ESM which was added as a vanilla ESM in the last update from Bethesda, it always reverts to loading it at the bottom which is annoying. I need to move it back to the top before every start of the game.
  3. I've just tried updating to the beta in hopes of trying LOOT on my Starfield load order but after updating I don't have a plugins menu item on the left. Doing a Google Search I found past instances of this issue that were solved by checking for failed gamebryo extensions, installing the latest C++ redistributable, turning off AV, but none of those are my issue. Maybe a bug with Starfield? Not sure what else I can do. Bummer. Oh, and every time I restart Vortex, it resets the load order to alphabetical. I guess this version is very broken. Will roll back. And another thing... every time I start Vortex, it says I need to deploy mods... but nothing has changed... all the files are in the Data folder as they should be. It's confused
  4. Sorry to say but your rants, like mine will fall on deaf ears. According to them, it’s your fault this happened. LOL. I learned a few important lessons from this update… 1. Never update anything until broad reviews are published 2. The Vortex team is a bunch of smug jerks that think they can do no wrong, and offer no support. And their priorities are whack. This update benefits no one and just requires all FOMOD authors to update their packages for no reason and then creates massive headaches for some users. Where is plugins.txt support?! 3. Vortex is trash. How it could render all mods redundant while erasing them all and not replacing them with anything is a great example.
  5. My staging folder is at C:\Modding\ModStaging I use the Mod Deployment method. Vortex is in Progrsm Files as you say. So it’s not my staging folder location. There was another person on Reddit with half his mods being wiped out. So I’m certainly not the only one. This makes at least three I know of… https://www.reddit.com/r/starfieldmods/s/kftlHfJv2M So don’t be so arrogant and dismissive.
  6. I don’t know what happened, but I launched Vortex, it auto updated, and then flagged 90% of my 100 mods as redundant, and uninstalled them all.. Texture mods, ESM mods, CCR mods, and even SFSE and other DLL mods. WTF?! My install is nothing unusual… everything is in the mod staging folder structure (not in the game folder structure at all) and has been working flawlessly until now. I couldn’t just enable the mods, which appeared to work, because it wasn’t actually moving files… I had to uninstall, and restore that way, which leads me to believe the mod staging area was also wiped. I lost a lot of time tonight because this release clearly wasn’t tested and you’re lecturing me about respect. How about respect for people’s time and not publishing game breaking updates that creates a huge mess to clean up?
  7. Seems you're having a different issue from me. My mods are no where... Not even in the wrong directory... simply uninstalled. And I have to select "Uninstall" form Vortex, and then "Enable" to put them back. One at a frickin time... times 100 mods! Who ever put this out there needs a serious flogging.
  8. Hi, I just started up Vortex and it must have auto updated to this version.... (which is a separate issue)... I got the message that "Some mods are redundant" and clicking show, lists every mod I have! What's going on here? How do I resolve this? What's worse, is that a lot of my mods seem to have been uninstalled from the data folder but are still showing as "Enabled" in Vortex. FFS! EDIT: I can't disable and enable the mods to get them to re-install... what the actual f*#@?! EDIT2: All my mods have to uninstalled, and then re-installed. That's over 100 mods. What the hell man?! I can't imagine a more trash update to put out there.
