  1. I want to use the Lined Cape of the Congregation, but it's real gaudy. There is another version of it called the Merchant Cape that's less obnoxious, so I would like to replace the texture of the former with the latter, but I kind of want to add the filled in golden circles that the former has. Could anyone who knows how to work this strange resorep pgz system help me with this?
  2. When I draw my weapon it becomes visibly smaller than when it is in the scabbard. Is there any way to fix this? I use ECE and XP32 skeleton if that matters.
  3. I want to use the relaxed idle from the Male Idle Animation Replacer mod. But the animation isn't looped properly. At the end it doesn't transition smoothly back to the start, and snaps back instead, which makes it look really bad. According to the author they're all vanilla files too, so maybe there's a second part to it that's just missing? Anyway, I looked at how you work with animations on the Nexus wiki, and it was fine up until the point where you load it into 3DSmax, that stuff looked super complicated. So is there anyone here who has some experience with it who can just go in and like, flip the animation backwards or something so it transitions smoothly back to the start?
  4. I'm making an elf character and I need some armour mods that are elegant but still look combat worthy. Something along the lines of the royal elven armour, the rogue sorceress set, and the ritter armour.
  5. I don't have FNIS....should I? Ah okay, there is a similar issue that happens when you have custom animations that need FNIS, but FNIS isn't up to date with the official version of Skyrim. The characters start spazzing out and swinging their weapons at light speed.
  6. It's an issue with FNIS, update it and everything should be fine.
  7. I'm having issues disabling the essential tags. I've already added bEssentialTakeNoDamage=0 to like every category of the Skyrim.ini, even though it only needs to be in [Gameplay]. It used to work just fine, but now for some reason it doesn't do anything. How do I make it work again?

  9. *Endless praise* Thank you so much. It works for all of the bows. No longer will the elven bow from the LotR pack be the only bow that works for female characters.
  10. Why would I ever want to search for a user on the nexus? When I enter Riverwood into the search bar on the main site, I want mods pertaining to Riverwood, not the user named Riverwood. Even doing an advanced search, this happens. All of this social fluff is ruining the site. This is a place to download and discuss mods and modding, not to socialize and make friends. Leave that kind of crap to facebook.
  11. EDIT: never mind, I found what I was looking for.
  12. I wanted to have both my walking around crosshair, and my sneaking crosshair as a dot. So far there are mods for both. One that changes the regular crosshair, and one that removes the stealth meter, and only leaves the dot. Unfortunately they both replace the same file, so I have to choose between one or the other. So I want to make my own mod that combines the two. But how do I edit gfx files?
  13. ^^^ It's entirely possible those effects were added in Photoshop or something, before uploading the picture. It's not necessarily a part of the DoF mod. I'm looking for a mod that lets you dress dead bodies like mannequins. Maybe I want to put a bag over the head of a stormcloak, or dress one of those orcs looking for a "good death" in a jester hat.
  14. I want their house. Because it's in a good location, and it has a good floor plan. But there's this pesky problem of the Gray-Manes living there. How could I make it so that they go live somewhere else? Breezehome, perhaps? Or Uthgerd's house, gods know she isn't using it. xD How difficult would it be to do this? EDIT: To clarify, I'm not asking for someone to do this for me, I'm just curious if it's something I could do easily with the Creation Kit, or if there would be like a million different settings to change.
