I'm doing it God help me. Do you suggest restarting the game with alternative start? how does it influence the game? I want to be "part" of the story..

OK. This is so stupid but I have no idea how to add pictures here so I build a temp website: https://nimrodharel.wixsite.com/skyrim You can see my folders there, third pic is the mods when I launch the game, fourth pic is the mods when I'm in the game going to system and then mods (you can see the damn wagon scene in the back (both pic taken by camera since screen shot button doesn't work in the game). If you need any more screen shots tell me. p.s. I launch the game with skse64_loader

As I said I left vortex. I manually put the above mod in the data folder. Launched the game through the skse64 (and also through the original launcher). In both cases the mod doesn't work. BTW when I enter mods tab in the game I see that mod in my library (eventhough it has no thumbnail, like its grayed out). This is so weird.

It's open cities SE. checked. I'll ask it differently. how do I install mods manually without vortex. I gave up on this program.

what do you mean installing? I have skyrim SE, I followed the instructions in the vid. at no point he says anything about LE/Se folders. I just created a new folder under steam folder and installed the mods there as he said. by the way at no point I've encountered an LE folder. I have no idea what it is.

I also installed and enabled "open cities" since its very easy to detect if it works or not. Tried to open a city (Riften). it doesn't work.

I decided to start new. I uninstalled vortex. re installed it. followed the instructions in this vid : step by step. installed alternative beginning (and only it) and enabled it, and tried launching the game through vortex.I'm in the damn wagon. What am I doing wrong?????? it drives me crazy.

are you referring to skse64_loader.exe? I download it and put it in the skyrim directory. when I click it the game begins but I don't understand where is vortex in the loop?

As suspected. I begin in the wagon. all mods are enabled and they don't work. How can it be?

I don't understand what's the video has to do with it

OK. I tried it. the games starts but the mod doesn't seem to work (no special menus and the the inventory looks the same). Than you for your help.
