  1. 150 mods and 2GB of stuff to store that with honestly isnt that bad sure its not anywhere near the storage a pc has but if youre smart you can do a lot with it and usually I dont ever find myself needing more than 150 mods per play through. Because if I want to try something out I can always uninstall that mod and substitute it for another. A lot of us are really smart with what we download on the Beth.net mod menu. I dont like parting with a lot of my favorite mods. And appreciate the quality of life mods on fallout and skyrim such as perk menu tweaks bug fixes etc etc. You know the stuff your ignorant ass says we dont appreciate HeyYou
  2. I dont know if you know but when you are coding stuff you have the potential to create garbage data along side the actual meat of the code youre trying to cobble together into a complete project. Thus leading to higher file size and less space being available to hold said file in a database if you are limited in storage in order to have that file be viable for use. Maybe I dont know if a lot of modders look into the content they produce and get to the kibbles and bits of the code they are using associated with the models, ui , etc mods they are making theyd see how much garbage data is bundled with the mod they are making that in all honesty doesnt need to be there.
  3. Also mr smartass is console players have work arounds. File compression of the patches or getting rid of garbage data thats included along side the part we actually need for said patches. Getting of unnecessary data within the esp.file. Which is what a lot of people who port stuff with permission do. And yes I said WITH PERMISSION surprising isnt it jackass!
  4. Especially when someone tries to politely raise this issue and all they are met with is people like him taking a piss in their face.
  5. Its also people like him saying people like us console players dont deserve mods and that we should be abandoned by Bethesdas modding community as a whole that make me think that pc modders hate our guts. Its people like heyyou who fuel the toxicity and dissuade the very few modders who still release stuff for console players or decide to let others port it for other peoples use. That makes me think you guys hate us. Its people like him that are so callous , uncaring , tribalistic, and rude. That makes me think this way and it frustrates me. Its people like him who think all of us who are part of the playerbase for Bethesda games on consoles are noting but good for nothing mod theives based on a few individuals who did steal mods and a few of them that supported the mod theft as representative of us all. I dont believe I am owed anything no but I sure as hell dont deserve people like heyyou stoking the flames of mistrust between both the nexus modding community of which also supplies my community with new content to the point those few modders that are willing to either port mods over to Beth.net themselves or allow others to do so for other people to enjoy said original mod creators content by and my own community by bad mouthing the entirety of my community and ignorantly assuming all of us are the same as those who were responsible for the rampant mod theft a while back. I refuse to let all of my community be labeled this way and have them be victims of subterfuge aimed at denying console players the very few modders who do want to make content for us or at the very least allow their content to be available for use. You should weed out malicious bad actors such as HeyYou out of your community because they make you seem as if every single person on here hates console players. I am tired of all of us being held responsible for that controversy its not fair. Not to mention when I tried to politely bring this topic up and suggest that both the console community and the pc modding community join together to make a petition to Bethesda to both release restrictions on the mods allowed on their beth.net mod catalogue as well as retool the engine for easier integration of pc mods for console player use all people like HeyYou did was be sarcastic mocking assholes to me whilst playing the victims

  7. People like him make me think the pc modding community hates us console players.
  8. What makes me think that is people like HeyYou blaming everyone who owns a console and plays fallout and skyrim as responsible for mod theft. Uses blanket statements saying that all console gamers are all bad peoples and says the majority of us condoned the mod theft other parts of the console gaming community committed and hates us solely based on what a portion (and not the majority of our community ) did.
  9. Because over the while Ive seen on the Beth. Mod catalog of many modders complaining we are the worst people out there. I just want to be able to mod my game man. I appreciate modders but I feel like they are plastering me with a prejudice I dont deserve to be applied on to me and plenty of those like me deserve. Because I feel like I am and other people on console who are gamers who love fallout and skyrim wrongly are being persecuted by the pc modding community for a thing done by a portion (but not the majority of the console gaming community for those two games) did by stealing mods and porting them without permission. As well as us being persecuted because if Bethesdas lack of action on that issue. Do you pc modders really think thats what we are all like? It causes me a great deal of frustration because I dont want to be held responsible or punished by the pc modding community for something I had 0 involvement with. I am a person who watches mod showcases a lot and just wishes he could have those on his Xbox because Ill admit it Im poor as hell right now. With inflation itll be hell to buy myself a pc or even build one. Plus to even learn how to mod on it or install them i have to learn how they work or how to get them to work. Maybe when things lighten up in the future Ill have time for this but right now I dont have the time nor the money. I have always been a big fan of the pc modding community and guess well I kindof got bitter towards it after a while because I had heard around from some people that the pc modding community said we on consoles didnt deserve them after what happened and that we didnt appreciate them. Well I can tell you I did. I did a lot it always brought a smile to my face when I saw a new mod in the catalog I know Im not owed this stuff but I felt like well that situation got blown out of hand and well I just want to keep being able to play what you guys have to offer content wise. I know that is console gamers dont nessicarily have the best reputation with you of modders on nexus all I ask is pleaseplease dont give up on us. Dont throw us all in the fire over what a couple from our community did. Please keep making us content I beg you
  10. And if starfeild isnt released? Modders on pc are more inclined to let games like fallout and skyrim die on console. Yeah so f*#@ing excited bro and the fact that modders are more inclined to give everyone on console the finger rather than help us out. f*#@ I HATE THIS TRIBALISTIC BULLSHIT.
  11. It is important to acknowledge that the conceitedness of some PC modders and Bethesda's PC community, in general, has played a part in the challenges facing the modding community. The attitude of some PC modders towards console players has been dismissive and exclusionary, creating a toxic environment that is not welcoming to new members of the community. Furthermore, Bethesda's restrictions on modded content, the layout and UI of their mod catalog, and engine changes have also contributed to the challenges facing the modding community. While some of these changes were made in response to feedback from the community, the implementation of these changes has not always been seamless or well-received. This has resulted in a decline in the modding community for Bethesda games, as many talented modders have left due to frustration with these restrictions and changes. This decline in the modding community has also had an impact on the quality and quantity of modded content available for Bethesda games, which in turn can impact the replayability of these games. It is important for Bethesda to listen to the concerns of the modding community and work towards creating a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all players. This includes making changes to their mod catalog and engine that are informed by feedback from the community, as well as addressing the toxic behavior of some members of the PC modding community. By working together, Bethesda and the modding community can create a more vibrant and sustainable modding community that will continue to enhance the gaming experience for all players. It is important to remember that we are all passionate about gaming and that by working together, we can overcome the challenges facing the modding community and continue to create amazing content for Bethesda games.
  12. is important to understand that the issues facing the modding community for Bethesda games are not solely the fault of Bethesda. While there have been instances where Bethesda's rules and restrictions on modded content have caused frustration and limitations for both PC and console players, it is unfair to place the blame solely on Bethesda. In fact, one of the biggest challenges facing the modding community is the tribalism of some PC modders who specialize in Bethesda games. While there are many talented and creative modders who contribute to the community in a positive way, there are also those who have deliberately messed with console players maliciously through Bethesda's mod catalog. This type of behavior creates a toxic environment that discourages new modders and console players from joining the community. It also detracts from the incredible creativity and innovation that is possible in modding for Bethesda games. Instead of focusing on blaming Bethesda for the limitations on modded content, we should work towards creating a more welcoming and inclusive community for all players. This means discouraging toxic behavior. Need I remind you that it was pc modders who had a chip on their shoulder about some people from the console side of things who knew just the bare minimum amount to at least semi-port over mods they made who eventually released mods that had packets of malicious code that were intended to brick consoles of those who mistakenly downloaded them? Part or the reason the modding community is dying is Bethesdas restrictions yes. But the other half of that is the utter disdain most of you pc modders show towards console players. There are still plenty of you who have a chip on your shoulders about that incident with people porting mods over to console without permission and used that as a justification to leave console gamers starving for content. A part of this decline in Bethesdas modding scene is you guys. They wouldnt be as strict as they or or altered the layout so much if you hadnt gone out of your way to piss in the face of everyone on consoles because of PC players and modders ever so long standing superiority complex and dick measuring contest which us on consoles arent really interested in partaking in with you. I dont like how bethesda handles things either how ever PC Modders greedily hoard mods out of some stupid sense that those on consoles dont appreciate them nor are worthy of having them. Its a mixture of Bethesda and Bethesdas Modding community itself that are killing Bethesdas modding community.
  13. First I want to start off by saying this is to state a grievance that many of us on consoles have had , when this whole mod theft spree was going on the entirety of the mod community blamed everyone on console for the mod theft and stopped making mods for fallout 4 for console players based solely on this incident. No one else has addressed this ever since it happened and thats bulls***. Most mod authors take out their anger on the console community as a whole to this day for what happened and its not fair. So if there are any mod authors who participated in throwing all of us out that genuinely respected your work and wanted to see a proper port from you guys how do you all feel now considering youve pretty much left console players dead in the water with very few new mods coming in because of your pettiness.
