In response to post #31611950. Well I know I'm not paying for a premium membership any more since it obviously isn't helping the security of my account. Thankfully I've only used NMM once for an Oblivion mod that required it. I always manually download and scan all my files myself. I don't trust their virus scanner. Not even the password change page is secured. I didn't notice that till today. Not happy. I was almost hit with a virus when a few big Skyrim mods were hacked. Glad I don't play Fallout. And all my passwords are strong and stored externally. I still changed mine here anyway and looks I'll spend the next couple of hours changing all my others.

In response to post #31611625. #31612080 is also a reply to the same post. I do keep different passwords. Strong ones. And they are all stored on an external hard drive. But I changed mine here just now anyway. And the password change page isn't even secured. Which I find very annoying. Personally as someone who had an old Tumblr account hacked. I wouldn't use their service again till they put in two-factor authentication. So my cell phone is necessary to log into Tumblr. I don't play Fallout. But I was almost affected by the last breach when Skyrim mods were affected. Like SkyUI. I just missed getting an infected file. Fortunately I manually download and scan all my files no matter what game they are for, whether from here or something for Sims, elsewhere. I don't pay for a membership here for faulty security. That's for sure.

I hope you add two-factor authentication soon.

In response to post #27528939. #27529259, #27530094, #27530239, #27530274, #27542284 are all replies on the same post. 8.593%. One look at the front page demonstrates that. I get so tired of the same half-naked women and skimpy armor. Which is why I blocked adult content. It shows up in some, um...odd places. ;) I'm quite proud to be a happy female middle-aged player though! :)

Happy female user here. And not shocked the number for women players was so low. Honestly. ;) It is amazing given how MANY modders are females. Seriously. UGH.

Somehow I'm not shocked women are so rare in these parts given the popularity of so many skimpy armor mods that always seem to get pushed to the forefront while really good hidden gems, well - stay hidden. It's a shame. I hope this is an issue that can be addressed. I find so many great mods by accident that are just buried. I'm tired of seeing the same type of nonsense get tons of votes for mod of the month, while some really good work goes unrecognized. And I see I'm in the minority of gals in the 40 year old range using the site. Imagine that! ;)

File bug reporting system and image uploading updates

The bug report option is a great idea - will free up the comments section a lot! I hope mod authors to decide to opt in and put it to good use. -
Quick updates to the site, money money money edition

In response to post #24622409. #24622729 is also a reply to the same post. I just wanted to say I have a lot of respect right now for the Beyond Skyrim team. That is one exception I would make to paying for a mod. The only exception. Period. -

I will never pay for a mod. I have enough mods now. However, it's sad to see though that some I use are being moved to the Workshop and I'm not paying for updates. Sorry. -

Thank you. Actually EA does not agree (to my knowledge) with making people pay for mods or custom content made by players. They kept that to themselves with the Sims 2 and then the Sims 3 Store. Who knows what they will do with Sims 4.

Actually Arthmoor there is a lot of division in the Sims community about money and paying for custom content. The Sims Resource used to frequently come under fire for requiring users to pay to have access to several modder's files. They finally went free, but with tons of ads on their site and longer download times if you block their ads or don't buy a subscription to the site. I won't even get into how many people used to complain about the prices in the Sims 3 Store. Piracy is/was quite common in the Sims 3 community. But no one ever wants to admit to doing it. Now Adfly is a problem that many people are unhappy about. Because of the malware frequently attached to it that gets by adblockers. The most famous Sims modder of them all - Twallan from NRAAS - never took a dime and refused it many times. He always said modding should never be about money. Ever. He always said that it was about making the game you love better and cleaning up EA's messes for the greater good. He's retired now, but he would be appalled at this. That's my experience. And I am a long-time Sims player.
