  1. So I know that there are already two mods out there that do this, but the 1st one has CTD's when firing and the 2nd one uses alternate ammo. What I'm looking for is just the C-Finder, which fires once every 24 hours, and without having to choose that ARCHIMEDES II option. Just like that. I hope that's okay! Thanks.
  2. That's amazing, thank you so much. On an unrelated note, any mods that edit Hardcore mode? For example, I want to use Hardcore mode but without the ammo weight or companions dying. I searched up for something like that, but it looks like it's all or nothing. Thanks again.
  3. Hey all, I just wanted to make a simple request. I remember last time having a mod that frequently updated what time it was by notifications. I searched all over for it, and since the only thing I could find was a request thread with one reply, the mod must have been from Fallout 3 only. So, I'm just asking for one similar to that. It can either notify the time once in a while, or it could be a part of the HUD (which would be very nice). I'm getting rather sick of pressing the "Wait" button to see the time. Thanks!
  4. So you don't care about the limitations of the engine, the money, the publisher, you just WANT it. It's like asking your mom to turn the loaf of bread into a lump of gold. And no matter how your mom tries to explain it's NOT POSSIBLE, you stubbornly keep screaming for something impossible to be done. And don't think playing games makes you know the game creating process. Just because I read a few tips on how to play football doesn't mean I can play it like a pro straight away.
  5. I had this problem too, but after installing the latest Nvidia driver, it went away completely.
  6. A huge chunk of everything. I lose weapons, accessories, potions, etc.
  7. I've noticed that when there are large battles, I will lose a large chunk of my inventory. I only experience this when there's a ton of lag, and I lag a lot when there are many enemies. It seems to happen when a lot of things go on at once. It's extremely frustrating, could someone please help?
  8. If you ask me, this entire request is a joke. I guess the starter of this thread thought it would be funny to waste people's life.
  9. 1. you sound like a jerk  2. :D Anyone got gaint chocolate milk :D I don't understand how people could request this, let alone support this. Anyone in their right mind would know that nobody will ever do this request, so I don't see how anyone in their right mind could even ask for this. I'm extremely shocked not only by the request, but also by how people could support this. I am sorry for my outburst, but I was just so shocked. I still am.
  10. Okay. Since it's such a great idea, let's wait for someone to make it since it's so fabulous.
  11. I'll be okay if the guy just requested for a fat man. Or maybe a hat. But this???
  12. I'm just so astonished how something like this could mean the world to anybody... Let's think about it. He wants a large carton of chocolate milk, totally blocking Megaton. Who would want this? And he wants a fat man to beat you up when you try to open the Megaton gate. Who would want this? And after you kill him, he would yell something stupid and you'll still be unable to go to Megaton. Who would want this? I'm also astonished why he even bothered to request it. Does he seriously think somebody will take the time to make this for him? Don't you know how hard it is to do all this? And what do you even gain from all of this? You heard two lines of random dialogue and killed a fat guy. Then, you're left with the gate being blocked. And I can't believe how you're encouraging this. The way I see it, this guy and his friend wants to make fun of his brother, so they ask for a group of people to put their time and effort into doing this just for him. Something that only he could possibly enjoy. This is why modders tend to stay out of the request section, because of stupid requests like these...
  13. I've met 9 year old's who have better spelling and grammar than you. I'd understand if English isn't your first language, but you yourself said you only speak English. And honestly, all in caps because YOU think it's important? How's it important, exactly? You're just trying to get attention for yourself. If everyone can write in caps because it's "important" then every thread out there will have the title in caps... Grow up.
  14. Do you even know how hard the modders work? And you want them to work on your mod, that only less than 10 people will actually want, for god knows how many months, when they can be working on so much more better stuff than this?
  15. Is your desire so intense that you want an entire group of modders to spend many months having to make a new body, voice acting, clothing, textures, etc when there are so many better mods to be made? Just to make a singular mod that you and your friend, and only the 2 of you, will ever download?
  16. Is this a joke? It would mean the world to you if a fat man named James started punching you7? Wow...
  17. Sorry, but I don't see that fitting in the Fallout universe.
  18. That looks pretty good, I won't mind one myself.
  19. Man, those weapons look awesome...
  20. Looking at the Nexus' file database I see that 60 mods have been uploaded in the last 4 days. I don't think that is at all unusual, so my question is... what are you talking about? Do you want a solution that is looking for a problem? Maybe I will take this thread and put it with the thread complaining that so many new little redundant mods keep coming out that they push his hot releases off the new uploads list faster than anyone can see them, and then use them both for balanced bookends. Really? Because I always search through all the recent activity and I find nothing new or interesting. I used to just refresh my page every 5 minutes to find 3 new mods. Nowadays I barely find more than 5 new mods in 3 days. Or maybe it's just me.
  21. I see so many good mods in TESnexus that could be in Fallout 3. I wonder why nobody wants to port them over somehow. And I know how frustrating modding can be, and it seems that modding for Fallout 3 has overall stopped. If I left last time for a while and couldn't access the internet, I'll return to find a heap load of mods. Now I check back here very rarely, as it seems there is no activity any more... Some games just NEED modding. Borderlands definitely needs mods, and Fallout 3 can't survive without mods. The only thing that keeps people playing it is the awesome mods that they can find here. There are some big mods that are being worked on, but the small and useful mods seem to have disappeared.
  22. Yep. If it's folders like Meshes, Textures, etc they go into the Data folder. Sometimes they just give you the Data folder then paste it over your own Data folder, as it won't replace anything.
  23. Alright then, but maybe for stability make the max four player co-op? I also can't see so many people in the Fallout world, there wouldn't even be anything left to kill. Which is why I also feel that making it like those other online games wouldn't be too great. I think I will enjoy it more with a small group of people wandering the wastes than a thousand people wandering around launching MIRV's everywhere. It'll be really hard to just keep grinding to level, as you'd have to make the spawns instantly after the enemies die or you'd have to wait 3 days, and most quests would have to be deleted meaning that the best way to make exp is through killing creatures, which is better in an arena. I'm sure the less the better, right? More stable, less lagg, all that stuff. But I truly wouldn't know, and all this is assumption.
