I've got a friend whose game won't "prepare shaders" prior to game launch -- at all, not once. When you look in their C:\User\ProgramData\Hogwart Legacy folder, there are only two, small (<2Mb) files -- unlike my game, which creates 500MB+ files. Suffice it to say, this makes the game load shaders in real-time, which results in a stutter fest. Comparatively, their Monster Hunter Rise game does pre-load its shaders... Anyone know how one can force the game to pre-load shaders? Is it possible to share my pre-cached shader files with them, or are they installation specific...? (thanks)

A no "Easy Cheat" server would be nice too -- for mods etc.... -
CTD when approaching Nukaworld Transit Center
Sablicious1 replied to DJKnarnia's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Nah... Didn't work -- crashes with or without F4SE. I've had this issue for years, and after re-installing and updating, the CTD near Nuka World no longer happened... Until now. After modding the game for a few days, that same CTD (whenever anywhere near the Nuka World region) has resurfaced. So, a "clean" game will work; but, a modded one (to whatever degree, or whatever specific mod/s is/are causing it) does crash. --EDIT-- I found (and remember) the fix: YOU MUST REMOVE ANy HUD RELATED MODS. That is, and in my case, anything in the "\data\interface" folder -- I removed a "HUDmenu.swf" file (a minimalist HUD mod I had from way back), and it fixed the CTD on the very next attempt.
