  4. A number of times when I try to load up a cell the background in the render window is blue, and only a few small pieces actually load up, and its not a one time it does, one time it doesn't, its certain cells, like the silver rush, does anyone know how to get past this?
  5. This is a mod project that I'm looking to get started. The idea is to create a mod similar to Calibr from fallout 3, but the aim is not for only real world ammunition's, this is to create different ammo types for the existing ammunition;s and add other amunitions that are not only real world, but lore friendly as well. I'm looking for other modders to help. Looking for modelers, people to do textures, for scripters, and anyone willing to help. The first step I intend to undertake in this mod is to combine my Grenade ammo expansion mod (http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=38141) with CaC- Complete Ammunition Crafting (http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=38142). The overall goal is to provide a wide variety of ammo's to each vanilla type that are fully usable and craftable, as well as expanding further into real world ammunition's to help other mods, such as a 19th 20th 21th century weapons crossover into a single .esm to create cross compatibility between mods.
  6. I've been having trouble with the nexus lately, anything that makes me select a server to download will get stuck halfway through and then come up with a sourcefile could not be read, it could just be my internet being a pain, has anyone else been having problems with downloads?

Thanks for the help thc1234, I'll make sure to give you credit in this mod once I put the finishing touches on it, and you'll get a mention in another of mine as I'll use this same script for another of my mods, well close to it anyways.

  9. Alright, I'm working on a mod, well more or less have finished it, that adds 25mmm Plasma, Pulse, and Incendiary grenade ammo and 40mm HE, Plasma, and Pulse Ammo. I want to add these to existing vendors without causing conflict with other mods. I tried simply making a container that respawns and giving it persistent reference and ownership to a person. The inventory appeared, but after that initial time and seven days of waiting, it didn't respawn, and when I checked the container I hid just under the ground, it hadn't respawned its contents... So how do I add inventory to existing vendors safely?
  10. Alright, I'm trying to make several new ammo types for grenade launchers, plasma, pulse, and Incinderary for 25mm and plasma, pulse, and high explosive for 40mm. As I'm creating the explosions theres an artfile, and I assume thats what makes the plasma explosion green and all lovely and such. Its listed under Effects\FXExplosionPlasma.NIF what bsa do I find that under, and whats the file path if you know it?

Alright, I'm making a few npc to act as vendors, but I have some minor issues that while they arent game breaking are a bit frustrating. 1) I have an npc using two packages, a sandbox, and a sleep. The sandbox isn't set to any specific schedule, but the sleep is set to start at 20 and end after 8. I have it set for near linked reference and have linked a bed to her, but she seems to walk over to a different bed, sleep for a minute, get back up and wander back over to where she usually stands. How do I set it so she sleeps in the one bed for 8 hours starting at 10 pm. 2) I have another male npc. When I set his faction to boomer, I can no longer talk to him, he just does the generic boomer lines, is there anyway I can set him to the boomer faction and have him not become a generic, this is not very important as he just hangs out and is in a boomer suit, more of a curiosity. 3) Same boomer male, when I set his facial features in the geck and then load up the game, it just sets him to some generic childish look person, doesn't matter what race I set him too, as well, when I set him to african american he turns white when I go in game, though that might be due to my body replacer, not sure though. 4) lastly I want to edit an existing vendors inventory to expand it, but I don't want it conflict with other mods. I know you can do this via a script, but I know next to nothing of scripting, is there a way in NV to expand their stock without conflict and without using a script?
  12. Okay, thanks, though I have it working more or less now, though I will take a look at that just to see what it says. Now I have two minor questions. 1) I have my NPC set up with a sandbox, and a sleep package. The sandbox is set to any time, and the sleep is set to start at 20 and last for 8. I have it set to Near Linked Ref and have a bed linked to her, but she doesn't seem to sleep in it. 10pm comes around and she just stands around and doesn't sleep. Do I need to link her back to the bed, or... 2) As part of a mod I'm working on, I want to expand Lady Gibson's invetory, but I want to do it safely, as in do it so it doesn't end up incompatible with other mods. How can this be done, I know in fallout 3 there was a way. Does it require a script, cause if it does..... well I don't know squat about scripting.
  13. Alright, I'm still working at it, and I got the topics made and that, but when I go in game and try to talk to the npc I've created, so far all she has in conversation is the AP and good bye options. Are there any usual suspects I should look at as to why my topics aren't appearing?
