sumoftwosins
Before I go into this, there was a screw up while I was making the video. I didn't know about tx3000's post getting locked. During the tutorial I said, "thanks the LHammonds for the videos". Originally I didn't know who made the video thread and I just glanced at the nexus page and saw LHammond's name and that is what I said. Later I realized that the video post was gone and that author was tx3000. So I should of looked a bit harder when I was reading the top of the page. That probably doesn't make sense... With that said, I made this video as a companion to some of tx's videos, but so much for that. This video demonstrates my method for revamping a texture. Specifically, I changed the Chinese Jumpsuit to a tan/camo with some blood on it. The video covers how that was done and a few tricks in Adobe Photoshop. You might need to pause it and let it load some. It is around 200 megs of streaming data. Video Tutorial - Texturing In Photoshop Enjoy.

sumoftwosins
Crap, I realized the rewind/fast forward doesn't work on that video. I'll see if I can't fix that. I had a different version, but it was 600 megs.
Pyro Paul
My only problem with this is tut is that it doesn't show/use many of the given short cuts which would have made the job a lot shorter/easier. however, i was also taught that before you can take these short cuts you have to know the generic longer harder path... so it really isn't much of an issue. i would have used quick selection masks + lasso tools + Color range select to make selections around my items much more quickly. they can be a god send exspecially when working on some of the more complex texture maps such as the Wastelander merchent outfit. but a good starting tut which shows a great way to add some unique new textures with out degrading the bethesda texture too much. sumoftwosins
My main thing was introducing layer blending and the sponge filter. We all have our ways of doing things. I did my first texture with Quake... think 97... and I'm sure everyone one of us do it differently.

sumoftwosins
I used Camtasia Stupio for the recording. Which I used TotalVideo Converter to bounce the file around to a different file size. Cam Studio will publish it for you, but it pumps out a large file.
