RioKasha Posted May 23, 2013 Share Posted May 23, 2013 Ok I'm trying to open my created npc mod in the creation kit but i keep getting this error after I load up the mod. MASTERFILE: LOCALIZATION: Zero entries or empty block size read from strings file STRINGS/RaceCompatibilitu_ENGLISH.STRINGS. Strings will be missing. Im not sure if i got this before, because I usually get alot of warning and i always click Yes to all and my mod would load up just fine. But today it wont and this is the last warning I get before it crashes. Can anyone help me here I dont know much about this stuff. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Georgiegril Posted May 23, 2013 Share Posted May 23, 2013 Well, I'm wondering if the recent steam update (or some other nonsense) rewrote your KkyrimEditor.ini file.Have you checked to make sure you have all the DLCs in the archive section? SResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Update.bsa [add your DLCs here] Sounds like you had this all working before, but steam will rewrite my .ini files the second I turn my back, if I don't play offline.Anyway, hope that helps. RioKasha Posted May 23, 2013 Author Share Posted May 23, 2013 (edited) I just added the DLC today (after hours of researching trying to get this fixed) in SkyrimEditor.ini file and that still didnt fix it. Also i tried loading someone else's mod and it worked fine, but when i load mine (which runs off other mods) it crashes. (just clarifying)Does your mod also reference the update.esm? Are you using IsharaMeradins tutorial for referencing multiple master files? Might help to recheck the steps... RioKasha Posted May 23, 2013 Author Share Posted May 23, 2013 (edited) Yes I was able to load my mod before the DLC and yes it reference the update.esm. I checked the tutorial, I guess the problem is that I left the extra dependable mods as master file when I Espify self. Ill try to see if that fixes the problem.Ok I did a mod checker with Wrye Bash and my mod have 3 Delinquent Master 1 of them I deleted a long time ago, and the other two I updated and I guess my mod believe they are missing.
