Wallettheif Posted May 25, 2013 Share Posted May 25, 2013 So, yeah Whenever I try to load a savegame through the "continue" or "load" buttons on the main menu, the game crashes. HOWEVER, if I start a new game then try to load one of my saves it works fine. Has anyone else had this issue? How do I fix this? shinobi2008 Posted May 30, 2013 Share Posted May 30, 2013 I can't see anything wrong with your load order except that ROC-Skingrad patch has to be one or the other not both. I don't use Dungeons of Ivellon so I cannot be sure if that is the cause. What did the BOSS log say? Wallettheif Posted June 1, 2013 Author Share Posted June 1, 2013 Uninstalled P1DkeyChain.esp, game still crashes. Don't have the fort grief key as I haven't completed that quest yet. Also, crashing seems to only happen in the main dungeon under frostcrag spire that's added by Frostcrag Reborn (I'm using the de-isolated version, of course) and the dungeons of Ivellon. Lanceor Posted June 1, 2013 Share Posted June 1, 2013 Could it be excessive RAM usage? Oblivion will crash if it uses over 2 GB of RAM (unless you have a 64 bit OS AND you have a LAA patch). 1. Do you have any texture replacers? 2. If so, is the game crashing when it reaches 2 GB of RAM usage? (If you have a second monitor, you can run task manager and look at how much RAM Oblivion.exe is using.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

shinobi2008 Posted June 5, 2013 Share Posted June 5, 2013 Hmmm do you have previous saves that you can fall back to? If you do, then try loading that save and then go to the same location that causes CTD. If the game crashes, try waiting for a new spawn in the testinghall by typing coc testinghall on the console.
