JSlash
If I remove it from a location/dungeon, it effectively removes the "level lock" feature, and the location matches your level again when it resets. I just started playing, so I haven't tested thoroughly, I tested on Pinewatch and it seems to be working, there's no difference whatsoever in terms of loot and enemies. So my question is, is there some other side effect to this or can i safely remove them??
gsmanners
Those have more than just level info. They also record whether a zone is safe (like your homes), who owns stuff in that zone by default, particular Location of that zone (which is applicable to Radiant quests or anything else that uses Location). There's also a combat boundary which this zone data can disable.
JSlash
Thank you, so, if a zone is not owned, doesn't disable combat boundary, or isn't marked to never rest, will it then be safe to remove it? Do radiant quests use the enc. zone for anything besides ownership info? Sorry, I'm fairly new to Skyrim, and i'm not familiar with the system yet, but I just couldn't make peace with the level lock thing, I have to get rid of it. :wallbash:
gsmanners
Like I said, there's still Location to think of, and that can determine how quests can fill their aliases. Quests without aliases... Well, they've probably already filled by now, but any quests that haven't fired up already will still need that location data that you're disconnecting.
