Edit Encyclopedia and Create Backstory Mod

Is there way to could make a script that registers the death of the main characters and creates a predetermined backstory for one of my kids based on the fathers life witch would then be displayed in the encyclopedia?

or a widget that lets you edit the text on the encyclopedia screen?
