Morning/Afternoon/Night all,

 

I'm rather new at the whole modding thing, and it was only after playing Skyrim for hours n' hours and cluttering up with mods that I began to run into some... issues. Nothing game breaking, but over time I've collected mods and not all of them will work. There's obviously some conflict going on and I honestly have no clue what mods conflict with which and how to either resolve it or to structure them in a way that functions properly. I'm sure I'll have to remove some of them in favour of others, but I'd like to know which ones are compatible - if only so I can have different lists of compatible imods to choose from. It's also been a long time since I've played so I'm not sure which mods were the ones that didn't work - though I'd hazard it's the ones that I ended up turning off.

 

Don't worry about the save file. I'll start over if I need to and just cheat my way back to where I was or something.

 

I own all DLC - Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn, and the High Res Texture Pack (that is turned off because it was an order in one mod instruction).

 

These mods were all installed prior to Dragonborn and Hearthfire.

"Secondly I know that Wyrmstooth conflicts with a number of things." Does anyone know offhand if it conflicts with any of these? I'll cruise over to the page myself for a look, but it might not list everything.

 

He also recommended the /vg/ Elder Scrolls thread on 4chan, and after googling it I found this http://gdriv.es/tesg which seems like a bit of a godsend and is a good place I think to start if I'm rebuilding from the ground up.

Installed BOSS and had it sort my load order and installed TES5Edit and used it to clean dirty plugins as per instructions. Do I need to install Wyre Bash to merge leveled lists?

Hi, I think you missed something when you were looking at the rules: (just thought you would want to know, since you were concerned enough to try to make sure you weren't breaking the rules)


CHAPTER II - SPAM
Spam is...

1) Posting one liners. Replying to a thread and just saying something like "hey!" "yeah!" "lol" "I agree" "no" etc..
2) Posting the same thread/post repeatedly in order to gain attention.
3) Posting something completely off-topic (OT) that has nothing to do with the thread.
4) Posting in a thread to simply "bump" it back to the top of the forum listings with no additional or useful content.

 

I am not exactly clear on what the "issues" are, exactly. Could you please explain these with a little more detail--

What is the problem (Crashing, freezing, animation glitches, etc.)

Is there any pattern to the problem (place, time, when doing certain actions, etc)

If you have made any changes to your prefs.ini or ini files, could you please list those changes?

 

Finally could you replace the Boss log list you made with a copy/paste of the BOSS log text file (including messages), and enclose it in spoiler tags (you can find them in the pull down menu of the 3rd icon to the left on the top toolbar.)

 

Oh, well, really finally--If you are looking at rebuilding from the ground up, you might also check out the STEP Guide.

I get a CTD when trying to run Apachii Skyhair for the Luxury Suite Residents, but I think I might have that figured out.

 

Edit: Nope, I still do. Do you want the working order too?

 

EDIT2: Fixed Apachii Skyhair CTD and am now running all mods I've got downloaded to the point that the save file no longer warns me about any missing content (The mods that are off are Better Follower Improvements, Horses for Followers, and the three Res packs). I wonder if that means I've fixed it?

 

And sometimes whenever I'd attempt to use FNIS animations they wouldn't work properly. Whether it was NPCs simply not doing them or not dressing properly.
