Murkrow900
Hey guys! Well title says it all really, I can't seem to see more than two weapons in the weapons list (although I'm sure I got about a few hundred with all mods I'm using) so was just curious if anyone knows how to fix this or if there's something I'm doing wrong? Extremely new to creation kit and it is indeed the first time I'm using it but all I wanna do is edit the damage on a certain weapon from a mod. http://i.imgur.com/CXmjucR.jpg Picture of the creation kit for me. Teria23
Did you open the skyrim.esm and the mod esp at all? You need to check them both in your files list, then set the mod's esp as active file (check button underneath the list). Then it will take a while to load everything but you should be able to see and modify that weapon then. If you don't want to modify the original mod (maybe because you subscribed to it and don't want the next update to overwrite your changes), don't check the "set as active" button. You will then be prompted to save your changes as a new esp file when you're done. This new esp will (should) automatically be activated in your plugin file list (Data Files in the Steam launcher). Murkrow900
I think you're on to something here and I feel more and more like a moron haha. Where do I find the Skyrim.esm & Mod .esp in the creation kit and how do I check them? I have no idea where to click as I am scared to mess something up. How do I make it an active file etc? Teria23
You need to load the files like any other file in a windows program (menu "File" option). Double click the skyrim.esm and the esp of the weapon file. esm = "Elder Scrolls master"esp = "Elder Scrolls plugin"(I think :) ) Edited May 26, 2013 by Teria23
