Zombiedude101
Alright, so I've been trying to get the FOMM for New Vegas to work because, if I'm honest, I'm not particularly well talented with installing mods beyond extracting .esm files to the directories. Anyway, so I've noticed that when I either try to click on the mod seen in the Winrar box in the below screenshot, or try to open the package manager, it keeps asking me to login to my nexus account. However, this just causes it to crash to the point that the only way to actually close it is to go into the task manager and manually end the process for it. I've also noted that when I tried clicking on the mod file in the winrar box again, I got this message. http://i.imgur.com/l9h0w5O.png However, there's no crashdump.txt where it says it should be, so really IDK what's up with it. Also, I got the Mod Manager from this link: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/36901/?tab=1&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D36901%26preview%3D&pUp=1 At any rate, it doesn't seem to like logging into the Nexus accounts. It's listed as this in the DL window, BTW: http://i.imgur.com/GSJIU96.png
M48A5
Open the mod manager and click on the "Settings" button. In the "General" tab, look for the box "Check for new FOMod versions" and uncheck the box. This will eliminate the need to try to login and will take you directly to the page you want.
Zombiedude101
Tried, it still prompts me to log in but now I'm getting crashdumps alongside that message. 28 May 2013 - 15:52:16Fomm 0.13.21OS version: Microsoft Windows NT 6.1.7600.0System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at WebsiteAPIs.NexusAPI.get_LoginKey() at Fomm.PackageManager.PackageManager.WebsiteLogin() at Fomm.PackageManager.PackageManager..ctor(MainForm mf) at Fomm.MainForm.bPackageManager_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) at Fomm.MainForm..ctor(String fomod) at Fomm.Program.Main(String[] args) Edited May 28, 2013 by Zombiedude101
Zombiedude101
UPDATE: I've found that if I click cancel when prompted to log in, it opens up the package manager anyways. That good?
luthienanarion
The logging-into-the-Nexus functionality does not work. All downloading and updating is done manually with FOMM.
