DrakeTheDragon
that dude phoenix doesnt get it... if the eyecandy/hentai community moders stopped, we would have NO mods comming out for oblivion. at all...(although i was curious how this became such a trend, wich mod set it in motion)You know with this statement of your's you just supported phoenix's argument? if the eyecandy/hentai community moders stopped, we would have NO mods comming out for oblivion. at all...NO mods, at all? Really? I know for certain of at least 1 mod author still working on something 'not' eyecandy or hentai related... 'me'. (Actually I know of quite a massive amount of others as well, but I can't be talking for them.) Claiming there was no other modding but sexy female clothes and armor 'at all' going on anymore could easily be taken as an 'insult' by those who do 'not' work on these things. You basically 'deny' their very existance and every efforts. Not saying there aren't many working on these things, maybe even the most... heck, I don't even know, nor do I care... but claiming there actually was 'nothing else' entirely worked on anymore definitely isn't helping the cause. If you intend to fight those people, do it by proving them wrong, not by supporting their arguments. As for the inherent trouble with topics such as this in itself, just look at the title... 'More appropriate'... basically stating everything out there right now was 'not' appropriate at all. A 'public insult' packed into the very title already surely isn't the way to gather a lot of support around here and will only attract complaints from many sides. There's a lot of non-revealing, 'appropriate' (whatever that is in your eyes) male armors out there, and people even are still adding to them. Is there more female than male attire? Sure, that's undeniable. Is there quite some revealing male armor, as much as there is revealing female armor? Of course, as there are also female players, believe it or not, as well as males, who want to see some beautyful eye candy in their games (their individual reasons are nobody's business). The exact numbers of mods of this kind are directly controlled by the numbers of people with such interest. And who are you to attack all of them at once with statements such as this in the title? I myself likely won't be using most of them. The popular argument 'the less material there is, the more protection it offers' doesn't fly with my image of the gameworld. But you won't see me running around and telling others how 'wrong' their tastes or interests are (for the records, they are not). And my characters have a special taste of their own as well. Drake dislikes being hindered by heavy, bulky armor, his scales serve enough natural protection already, and I put an insane amount of work into his skin textures and of course want to see them at times, thus he preferes light, revealing armor and clothing. And as such any mods into this direction could very well be of interest to me. Kaira, his fionce, might have a temper and isn't exactly the most-polite type at times, but she was raised in a noble and honorful society any kind of misbehavior would be unthinkable in, and as such she's far from the 'slutty' type... but she knows how to play with the boys' minds to her personal advancement and how to use her beautyful body to get what she wants, and I won't deny the possibility of her slipping into something sensual or sexy sometimes to play these tricks on Drake. And as such, again, these kinds of mods could become interesting for her as well sometimes. These are 'my' reasons for my personal preferences, and beyond that they're nobody else's business. Just like anybody else's reasons will never be 'my' business. I'm all for ways for you to filter what you see on this site to fit your own personal preferences. The less things you see cause trouble to you, the less you will cause trouble to us.But starting a request such as this with a public attack on many site users and mod authors alike right in the very title isn't exactly the best way to go about it in my eyes. ...Just as telling there were no other mods at all even being worked on anymore than the kinds the OP doesn't want to see isn't exactly helping your cause either. Executor64
dude thats all good and fair what you said there, and my comment was too casual and careless, I admit Would like to apologise if I implied something i didnt mean with my sloppy responce note: I simply intended to say that creator of this topic shouldn't criticize the existing eyecandy-creators because lets face it, oblivion community is realy realy slim, and i would hate if someone would stop with their form of art, that is creating mods. I consider ALL the mods peices of art, dont we all? we collect them, enjoy them, talk about them ect.*Important note: I have NOTHING against provocative female bodies and poses, ima guy  Do i use these eyecandy mods? No, but that's my buisness, like you said(reasons irrelevant but here: TES really chamred me with lore and surrounding and i like my game to have females that are not drop dead gorgeous famme fatales, as the vanilla doesnt focus on that) It is true, by no means has the community stopped making non - eyecandy mods, shouldnt have said that so lightly Again appologies and good luck on any current projects (and again, treat the creators with respect) @phoenix7540I have quite a bit of mods in my armors/clothes personal choice list (got so many cant instal them all) tell you more if you inturested Edited June 8, 2013 by Executor64
Bugsbugme
And no, Bugsbugme, it's not only about 'nude or not' with all the tags you can block. Where did I say that? I was talking about the filter you can chose in your preferences. The "Allow me to see adult content" filter, doesn't it require that a mod be tagged as having nude content for it to filter it out?
