Does Changing the Mod Type to "Engine Injector"/"ENB" Do Anything Aside From Placing the Contents in the Game Folder?

Hello,

I use Vortex to mod Skyrim SE and just discovered the option to change the mod type to "Engine Injector"/"ENB", thanks to Gopher. I am very happy this exists because I can now see what I have installed into the game folder. I am curious though, does changing the mod type only change where the contents are placed or does anything else happen?

Thanks in advance

Vortex doesn't detect mod conflicts (files overwriting each other) between different mod types, e.g. if you have a mod installed as ENB that contains data\foobar.txt and then another installed as the default mod type containing "foobar.txt", Vortex wouldn't correctly ask you to pick which foobar.txt to keep.

Other than that it shouldn't change anything else.
