Multiple followers command problem

Hiya Folks,

 

I've recently installed 3 mods, kuertee Simple multiple followers, kuSMF x MCM and UFO - Ultimate Follower Overhaul, for now I have Lydia and Eric the Slayer as followers which seems to be working out very well in the battling and protection department (although Lydia can be a bit of a klutz and a general pain in the backside at times....lol).

 

In any event, I now find that if I try to issue the "follow me" and/or the "wait" command from the follower dialogue line to either one of them individually, it doesn't work, even though I do get the appropriate dialogue responses from them both ("lead on", "ok I'll stand guard here" etc.), they don't follow or wait....?? The only option I have that works is to issue the "follow me and get everyone" and/or "wait with everyone" command.

 

I can only assume that there's a scripting conflict with the vanilla follower dialogue line and one or all of the above mentioned recently installed mods.

 

If anyone here knows or could give me any suggestions as to why these follower dialogue line options (wait, follow me) aren't working properly and how I can or might be able to fix it, I would be most appreciative.

Did you read everything on the mod page for all of these mods? There is very likely information about compatibility either in the description and/or the readme sections.

If not, read through the discussion pages.

You may need to load them in specific order ordownload additional patches for them to work together. Or you may have to choose between them.

Whatever you do, do not simply uninstall any mod without carefully reading the proper way to do that to avoid breaking your game.

 

If you do all that and there are still problems that are not addressed in any of the mod author's pages, then post your BOSS log text file (enclosed in spoiler tags).

 

If you don't have BOSS, you definitely will need it. You can get it here. Run it, read the log and address any messages it gives you.

Actually I've found a solution that (for now...???) seems to be a workable fix for my follower command problem . I installed a mod called "Amazing Follower Tweaks" that I discovered the link for in the readme file of another mod I recently installed called "EZ2C DIALOGUE MENU," which so far seems to be quite compatible with the other three mods I've mentioned above and has made all the vanilla command options functional along with a few other excellent perky options.

 

I'm quite relieved this works as I really didn't want to uninstall and start over having to recruit Eric the Slayer again as I've now gotten him to the point where he's become an incredibly formidable follower and ally.

 

Oh and it's also a great mod for negating Lydia's pressure plate trap setting off clumsiness. That's a definite bonus.... ;D
