UnholyShadow
Ever since I had played oblivion for a while, I had wished the damage was more realistic. Normally I'm against things being too realistic, because sometimes it detracts fun from the game, but I think this change would be for the better. What I have wanted is a difficulty bar that goes like this, for both the player and the enemy unrealistic------------------------------------------realistic At the rightmost, it would be more or less like real life, maybe people would be a bit more durable than usual. I'm not talking like 1 slash kills you, but 50 sword slashes against someone with no armor on should kill them 10 times over, not get their health down by 60%. TL;DR more realistic damage via difficulty bar.
Germandeathkittiez
There is OOO for more realistic gameplay (I have never used it). I know that the characters in the game are all leveled up to you every time you level up +1 (so everyone's always a level higher than you, I'm assuming) which might be the reason one person with no armor will seem to never die to you. I'm pretty sure Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul (OOO) changes things about the leveling in gameplay, but it does many things which make the gameplay both harder and more fair, and so I don't know. As far as a bar to change realism, I don't think I know of anything to help you.
herosinger
There are all sorts of combat-enhancing mods that do various different things in relation to realism. Try looking through these mods to find some of the more popular ones: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/cat.php?...&order=DESC
