ZippyDSMlee
I am pretty sure I have ran it down to it not liking my ramm configuration tho I just changed ramm and it still dose it but when I have one stick in there it stops crashing. 0-o And yes I tried in dual channel and not in dual channel mode. My ramm was 8GB of patriot viper extreme now I am on 16GB Cosair vengeance. I have a ASUS Cross hair Formula 4, no matter the ramm speed I set it pretty much crashes, I have yet to get down and set the timings manually. I have played all of Star Craft HOTS, hours of PCSX2 and other memory hungry games and apps but it seems FO3 is the one that crashes/locks up every now and then and yes I went threw many reinstalls and tested vanilla for 10 hours. My question is basically dose New Vegas use the same type engine with no memory tweaks, ect or will I have to just install it and see?
shadowfx78
Grab the Large Address Aware mod from here on the nexus that should take care of your problem also have you done the quad core fix? New Vegas uses a different engine than Fallout 3. Edited June 9, 2013 by shadowfx78
