EvilPhoenix
Greetings, Last time when i played Skyrim,i had 1.6 or 1.7 patch.few days ago i started to play again and updated game with latest patch. I had no problems with FPS when i used 1.6 patch, but now i have some small laggs. At this moment, laggs only in caves. In open fields no laggs. At least i never noticed.I am confused. I have all 3 dlc and it is not a system requirments related problem.Drivers updated.I downloaded Skyrim Flora Overhaul few months ago (choosed only small resolution textures),but i am not sure if it is a source of problem.I have no mods that replacing caves textures with High-res textures. Any tips on how to boost fps will be appreciated.
Georgiegril
It might help just to have all of your info--Computer specs--CPU, RAM, Graphics card, VRAM, Driver, any changes you've made to your driver's game profileGame specs--Game settings, BOSS list (copy/paste text file with messages, enclose in spoiler tags), game-related supporting software (like skse, etc.), and any changes you have made to your ini and prefs.ini files. Also what changes did you make to go from 1.7 to 1.9? FiftyTifty
Disable shadows in your .ini files, download Realistic Lighting Overhaul and Colorful Lighting No Shadows to make up for the change in lighting. You'll get a major performance boost.

EvilPhoenix
With Flora Overhaul + Ice&Snow textures mod, more lanterns, realistic nature sounds and RLO,it looks very good, but indeed too grey.I also removed dungeons plugin from RLO,since it was too dark,so i had to always use candlelight spell in caves, which is kind of annoying you know.As for grey.I apologize, but i am not a big fan of mods that require to use console commands or tools.Install and play is prefered. If you can suggest some other mods that will make Skyrim more colorful (realistic if possible) and days brighter (without enb or other tools that you have to configure),i will highly appreciate it. Uh. It's a one-time thing. You make the commands via console, it persists in the decendant saves. You could get Imaginator, but it's rather limited in it's options; Imagespace Modifiers made by hand are far superior.
bben46
Not every slowdown is game related - anything that uses CPU clock cycles can cause a drop in FPS.Here is a link to my basic troubleshooting blog: http://s1.zetaboards.com/bbenlibrary/topic/4751769/1/#new
