Vertidog
Hey, i pass the recommended requirements for Fallout 3 but yet i still have heavy stuttering in the vanilla game world that make's F3 virtually unplayable, which sucks because i love a lot of the mods available for F3 but it's hard to enjoy it! GunnerofLife
Have you tried the Stutter Remover? http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/8886/? This will help stabilize your FPS and stuttering issues. If you're using the NMC Texture Pack, I recommend using the PERFORMANCE version. If you're using the MAXIMUM version, low FPS and stuttering are common. Edited June 5, 2013 by GunnerofLife
hello987654321
Go to your local library, open an English dictionary, and search for the word "stutter", the first thing you will see is "Fallout 3".It's Fallout 3 ffs! Stuttering and hitching and mini-freezing and hiccups are what Fallout 3 is all about! True Fallout 3 had the best writers, it had the best artists, it had the best game mechanics, unfortunately it also had the most incompetent laziest programmers on Earth. bben46
Not every low fps or stuttering type problem is actually game related. Be sure your computer is optimized for the game before trying any game fixes, go through the general advice in this first. http://s1.zetaboards.com/bbenlibrary/topic/4751769/1/#new
Melchior3
Have you enable the 4GB switch for Fallout3.exe?What settings are you playing and what are your system specs?Could be reaching the limit of your video card for texture memory. Fallout Stutter Remover can work magic, but it is really a bandaid fix if there are deeper issues.

Melchior3
WIth 1GB video memory I don't think that's the issue. Have you enabled fallout exe to use 4GB RAM?
