Vertidog Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Hey, i pass the recommended requirements for Fallout 3 but yet i still have heavy stuttering in the vanilla game world that make's F3 virtually unplayable, which sucks because i love a lot of the mods available for F3 but it's hard to enjoy it!
GunnerofLife Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 (edited) Have you tried the Stutter Remover? http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/8886/? This will help stabilize your FPS and stuttering issues. If you're using the NMC Texture Pack, I recommend using the PERFORMANCE version. If you're using the MAXIMUM version, low FPS and stuttering are common. Edited June 5, 2013 by GunnerofLife

Stuttering and hitching and mini-freezing and hiccups are what Fallout 3 is all about! True Fallout 3 had the best writers, it had the best artists, it had the best game mechanics, unfortunately it also had the most incompetent laziest programmers on Earth.

Fallout Stutter Remover can work magic, but it is really a bandaid fix if there are deeper issues.

Melchior3 Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 WIth 1GB video memory I don't think that's the issue. Have you enabled fallout exe to use 4GB RAM?
