For a quest I am doing I want at some point when the antagonists will locks the doors and release gas through vents. I don't want it to kill the player instantly but reduce his health til the NPC ally can close the vents and deactivate the gas. I know that Dead Money DLC has the cloud gas which reduces your health when in it too long. So essentially I am looking for help on a script on how the gas will be released and how the NPC Ally will turn it off. If this is too difficult I would like help on the radiation leak alternative. devinpatterson Posted June 6, 2013 Share Posted June 6, 2013 I'd look at the dead money one, but reduce the damage and put it on a trigger in the area the npc ally must reach, attach a script to the trigger primitive that disables teh gas effect. Alternately you could have a travel package on the alley to an area and have him/her flip an activator that has a script with disable in it. Should be relatively easy if you'v scripted before, and a complete and total pain in the butt if you'v never scripted. Grab the newer geck powerup off of nexus, it will tell you what errors are in your script. Anyway give it a shot, if it just keeps kicking you in the nuts, give me a shout and maybe if I have time I can whip up something quick for you.
