savespycrabs
Dunno about you, but I would like my camera to zoom in when I start a dialog with an NPC. It really would feel more like I'm actually speaking with him, privately. Oblivion had it, all new Fallouts too, why not Skyrim then.
Tehandyman
I actually thought Skyrim dialogue was an improvement. It seems weird that people I talk to would just MAGNIFY suddenly whenever I talked to them. Like as if my character just magically flew straight up in their face. It seems much more realistic because in old bethesda games, the NPC's would literally drop everything they were doing to talk to you. In Skyrim, NPC's would usually continue doing what they were doing even when they talk to you (eg. Blacksmiths continue smithing, woodcutters continue cutting wood, miners still mine, etc) seems weird to me that NPC's are so interested in you to stop their activities and stare at you so intensely lol
savespycrabs
I'm not talking about interrupting NPCs' activities. I'm only talking about a simple camera zoom, no interfering into what the NPC is doing at the moment. I'd just like to be more "focused" on a character I'm talking with. Tehandyman
no, you don't understand. What if they're chopping wood or something, then their head would be constantly moving and the camera would be constantly moving with the head. I hardly call that "focused" I'd be dizzy after 5 seconds. thats why people in fallout and stuff stop what their doing to talk to you, so the camera doesn't just keep focusing on their head as they're moving around. billyro
I doubt it's possible nor would anyone be willing to make it, sorry. Most people think it's better the way it is.

AeonWeapon
It's funny that you say that, because I was actually looking for the opposite. I would like a mod that makes the camera zoom out to third person when in a conversation and shows your character, and maybe even switches to some cinematic camera angles/rotations (I'm thinking like Mass Effect conversations), or lets you move/zoom/rotate the camera yourself during converations. I like the immersion of first person myself for playing, but I would like something like this for recording the game more cinematically. The TFC console command allows you to move your camera willy nilly. But I don't quite recall how (or if) it works during dialogue though.
