The closest thing to it is a load order manager found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/mechwarrior5mercenaries/mods/174. However, not to worry. Vortex is open source. You and/or your gaming buddies are free to write a Vortex extension that will enable support (at least for the Steam version of the game). Mechwarrior 5 is a mess, and I feel the only way it can be saved is by mods. Tonnage Limits on all the missions makes the game unplayable, imo. And that's the least of it.... Mindshaker13 Posted August 28, 2021 Share Posted August 28, 2021 It looks like Vortex is trying to support MechWarrior 5. The problem is that the mods folder is not in the game directory(Microsoft Store version, not Steam). Right now it is not possible to tell Vortex that. Vortex is looking for the game directory which Microsoft makes it very difficult to find (I had to give myself permissions to the WindowsApps folder). Then when vortex sees the game it cannot activate because the mods folder is in C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\MW5Mercs\Mods. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
