annesexypants
Hi all,I think I managed to get the most crazyass f-up in game so far. I guess thats quite an accomplishment.Well thats from a not so tech savvy kind of view, so maybe you experienced even some crazier stuff.I am quite new to installing mods, etc,I tried uninstalling the whole game and re installing and ran CC cleaner. See screenshots to see whats wrong, whole parts of Skyrim are missing, dark coloring, my pc is gone, no npc'sI can only '' fly'' through everything.**I would like to add that in no way this happened due to the ENB.**If you can help me solve this, I will personally send you a cake. Doeetfgt
Uninstalling and reinstalling did nothing?Did you check your folders for any remaining files when you uninstalled?
ilikecheese1337
Go to Steam, right-click on Skyrim, Properties>Local Files>Validate Cache Files (or something along those lines).
bben46
There is a right way to use ccleaner to remove all traces of the game before a reinstall. First use the game uninstaller to do a basic uninstallThen rename things like your data folder and the save games folder (if you want to preserve some of your mods - or just as a reference of what you had) This leaves some registry entries behind that can come back and haunt you later. Now reboot the computer - this allows Windows to mark any left over registry entries that are not linked to anything as 'orphaned' entries to be removed. Run CCleaner - this removes those orphans. Now reboot again - this allows Windows to do some housecleaning in the registry If needed, now would be a good time to move your steam client out of the restrictive 'program files' folders. Here is a link to the steam instructions for moving without having to reinstall all of your games. I use C:\Games\Steam.https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?p_faqid=231 Now - reinstall the game - Steam will find the new location and put it there Be sure and test before you start putting in mods.
