Skipjack647
Hello. Noob modder here. I have mcm and i just downloaded oHUD and UnifiedHud project and my MCM didn't work properly beforehand(wouldnt show up because version was outdated) so i decided to update it from 1.06 to 1.5.Problem is, i cant. I redownloaded it because it said on the files tab that it was version 1.5(to the right of were it says "Download with manager"), which is the latest version. I downloaded that and overwrited the old MCM with the 1.5 one, but it still doesnt show up in pause menu ingame. I deactivated the old one, deleted it, and activated the new version and still nothing. I show in NMM that a new version was available and i clicked on the version number to update it, and thats how i got to the page to update it. I am a noob (yes, i know i am a few years late, more than a few) I would really like these HUD mods, and a lot of others that require MCM.Thank you and i will try to answer questions and lay out what i did to help. luthienanarion
Any time you install or remove a mod that modifies any part of the HUD xml files, run the Unified HUD installer.

Gribbleshnibit8
You don't need MCM to update uHUD. The installation order should always be as follows: Core UI mod (Darn, MTUI, etc) Project Nevada (if you use it) Other HUD mods (anything else that adds HUD elements) MCM iHUD/aHUD/oHUD (whichever combination you use, oHUD has the first two in it) uHUD (always install last and re-install if you modify any of the previous mods)

Im trying to update MCM. uHUD is not a mod. The install script detects other HUD mods and combines their includes into the main XML files. Uninstall it and install it again every time you install or uninstall another HUD mod such as MCM. Updating MCM overwrites the XML files written by the uHUD installer, so you have to run it again. Okay, thanks. Thats solves a lot of problems. But,i created this thread to help on installing MCM to version 1.5.I clicked on the little sign next to MCMs version number and i was going to download the updatted version but when i download with manager it shows that it downloaded it but it let me activate it. luthienanarion
Ah, so it's an NXMM problem. That program should only be used with Skyrim, in my honest and experienced opinion. It is unable to interpret some FOMOD install scripts correctly.

It is unable to interpret some FOMOD install scripts correctly.I dont know whats wrong with it.My New Vegas is messed up,so im just going to copy my saves somewhere and redownload the game.I moved my mods and saves over so i can go where i was and start again. Maybe this time i can just download MCM and it will already be at VER 1.5. Thanks for helping though.
