  1. I think it would be cool as a mod like The Door or Silent Hill or something, where multiple of the horror characters come after you, like The Evil Within(where certain "Boss" enemies chase/fight you in a short time).
  2. I have done the NCR ending every time. I have played it so many times I can make it the "perfect NCR ending" with the BoS in cooperation(patrolling Long 15, although I hate the fact you get infamy for that). I like the NCR and they seem like a good foundation, just hastily run. The way i see it, the NCR was stretching themselves thin for the Mojave, and the Courier aided that process so they could build back up again. The taxes were heavy, but I swear that something somewhere said the taxes were lifted and the NCR had complete domination and the only thing people hated was the annexation of the Strip. If I could have NCR victory, like NCR wins, t kicks out Legion, has heavy taxes but eventually lowers them and has full and complete security of Mojave, while having Yes Man run the Strip and the NCR leaves the Strip completely, It would really be a perfect game. I would eother want that Yes Man runs Strip, NCR leaves Strip alone(not even an embassy, not NCR presence in Vegas), and NCR controls area around it and all of Mojave providing secuirty and peace, OR all of the effects of Yes Man/Independent Vegas playthrough but NCR isnt kicked out of Mojave like it is. But to answer the question, I always play for NCR. Legion is too evil with not enough pros and they are like hardcore LARPERs, House is too greedy and hypocritical and pious, and Yes Mans only sting is that NCR is kicked out and Oliver is killed(rather funnily though. That ragdoll. gotta admit the scream is pretty spot on), not that Oliver shouldnt have been replaced, just not executed.
  3. Oh sorry man. I wasnt trying to get over 60fps, I just wanted it for other games where I woukd be over. Sorry I wasnt really thinking about it. I should just get a 6phz and cap fps at 60 at have no problems. So a 60hz monitor then....... Ill look later today.
  4. Does anyone know of a monitor of about 26 to 28 inches, 1080p, 144hz, LED, and of affordable price? The 1080 is for quality, the hz is for stability and smoothness, and the size is because I want a good one screen for gaming.
  5. I want a 144hz simply because I dont want tearing while playing. I know I wont be at 60+ frames on NV with all the mods I will have, but I just want it to be as smooth as it can as to reduce reduced performance at higher frames.
  6. I want a 144hz simply because I dont want tearing while playing. I know I wont be at 60+ frames on NV with all the mods I will have, but I just want it to be as smooth as it can as to reduce reduced performance at higher frames.
  7. I want 144hzx just so no tearing at all in any circumstances. I know I wont get 60+ frames in NV with all the mods Ill have but for games like Counter strike or anything else it will be beneficial. Besides, a good monitor will last pretty long.
  8. You said the XFX was a good option though If ASUS slides alot, what is a brand I know makes a good one? For screens, I think a 26 will do. I dont want to take a whole second to go from corner to corner. I only want single screen gaming anyway. All I want is 1080p. The 4k and all is too expensive and I want as much VRAM as possible for mods while still retaining visual quality(1080p at least).
  9. Mobo: ASUS Z97 PRO GAMER http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132412 CPU: Intel I5 4690k http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116989 RAM: GSkill ARES 18gb(2x8) 2133mhz http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231659 GPU: MSI GTX 970 4gb VRAM HDD: Western Digital 1TB 64mg cahce 7200rpm https://www.google.com/shopping/product/4124869370773973652?q=Western+Digital+1tb+7200+rpm&safe=off&biw=1440&bih=763&bav=on.2,or.r_cp.&bvm=bv.91665533,d.cGU&tch=1&ech=1&psi=f5k9VcvuC83soAS9kYCAAw.1430100353776.3&prds=paur:ClkAsKraXwUaR8Xqpnt6hBKL25C3nCzd56loglJ0MKM9cMKK8I2qYglprjRYbeOF_3npHZaU6WeZMRgHtMQy246AwGZLXkvsVRSfBSYhA5UeUy5cYaW1g1O2VRIZAFPVH70zdBIoJN1k04FX2brGXbsckqwu8Q&ei=g5k9VeXwIdLFogTb-oHYCw&ved=0CLMEEKYrMAI SSD: Crucial MX200 250gb http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148948 PSU:XFX XTR series 650w http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207031 Case: Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811352031 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That about clears it for the actual box. Now onto peripherals. I really only want a nice 1080p, 144hz, monitor. I dont know a good gaming size. Mouse and Keyboard I will take suggestions on for a good and nice one, but a cheap HP mouse ad board is going to be the first things. EDIT: I was thinking this was a good monitor http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236313 is the 24 inch size a "good" gaming size?
  10. He did. I think mine(the XFX) will do well. Ill post an ipfated list later
  11. Ok. I think I like the XFX 650w. I think that is what Im going to get. Do I need to show a updated list? Also, is there any new generations of CPUs or GPUs that I need to know about? I wont be building this for a while.
  12. Ok. After reading, it seems a 500-550w will be enough for SLI if I did it and extras if I added them. Correct? I will look through your list. Just from reading it seems sither the Antec Edge or the XFX will be a good choice. Ill get back to yall
  13. Sorry. I just dont know anything about PSUs. I thought Corsair was of good quality. so 550-650w will be alright? How will extra wattage effect the machine? Is it okay to have some extra but not a lot? What about this? It is a step up from the CS series, certified 80+ Gold, and is a plentiful wattage. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139060 I choose the ASUS over the GIGABYTE simply because the ASUS seemed more compatible for more things, specifically expansion slots and RAM OC. I may be wrong but I think it is better from my ignorant point of view. Everything seems to shape up now. I think I have the actual box setup, case and all after the PSU. Next is peripherals, which is really just a good 1080p, 144hz monitor. I dont care too much for Keyboard and mouse.
  14. I read your updated post just FYI. now knowing that, I'll just get the ASUS I linked. I'll get the standard Midi. I dont pan on SLI because of price and heat, and I wont more than 1tb to start off as I'll have a SSD as well and my dad has a button of HDDs from work at home. So wattage doesnt matter? I see what your saying with the 80+ rating, but what wattage is needed? Could I just get a big ole 1000w of good quality and be done or is there math to do? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EDIT: Ok, Im looking at PSUs and I have no idea what wattage. I read that 80+ Bronze is pretty much bare minimum, but i dont know if i need a specific wattage, like if my rig draws 600x i need a 750x PSU, or if I can get a big 1000w PSU and be done. need help here. Also, monitors. From what Ive read and know, I'll need 144mhz because of my graphics card. I want 1080, but i dont know a good size. I was think 26 to 28 inches, but I dunno. suggestions? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EDIT 2: After looking, it seems Corsair has the better end of PSUs. I looked at there CX series, which is their step up from the basic ones, and this one is modular, has sleeved cables, and is 850 watts. Again, i dont know what wattage I need, whether it needs to be specific, get a little extra, etc. So bear with me. http://www.corsair.com/en-us/cx-series-cx850m-modular-atx-power-supply-850-watt-80-plus-bronze-certified-modular-psu I looked at some monitors and this ASUS seems to have what i want. It is 1080p, has a 144hz refresh, and is a good size of 26 inches. Is this good or is there something else that is better? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236313 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  15. Sorry for double post, but thanks for the clarification FMod. Ill get the MSI then. i will post a new list in a few minutes. All I really want to know now is MOBOs then PSUs. What is a good MOBO for my setup I want? Im looking but I cant tell whats what. I thought the ASUS was pretty good but according to FMod there is better.
  16. What about the the ASUS Pro Gamer? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132412 It seems to be a well made board and it has all the slots I need plus more. It seems my lit is shaping up. Provided this is a good board, all the things going on it will be of good quality. Do yall want a revised list for further revision?
  17. Thanks for the post FMod. I will still get the 4690K, as I saw similar tests and they both performed the same. I dont do or want to do heavy editing, if I did do editing, it would be simple stuff for YouTube. How do you know the MSI has better cooling? The fans didnt look any bigger. After reading reviews, the cards actual VRAM for gaming is only 3.5 gb, and the other .5gb is used for something else(dont know what). Is the EVGA the same and do all cards do this? The small price difference between the XL and the Midi makes me want the XL. Fans are cheap, I can get cooling, I can crank up those fans to whatever they need(the noise doesnt bother me and I use a headset usually anyway), and the room in which my PC would be has many fans and is cold, and the case is huge. The only thing deterring me is the actual size, but I dont think it would get in the way. Also, Ive been looking at PSUs, but I have no idea what amount of wattage I need or even how to calculate how much, and brands I have no idea about. What tells you guys how much wattage you need and cant I just get a big 1000w PSU and be done? Just guessing, but it seems like there wont be 1000w constant, so would it matter how much if it is more then it needs? Less strees, right?
  18. I was looking at cases and the Fractal Arc Midi and I really like it(thanks Hoof) but I saw on Newegg that there was a XL version for 20 bucks more. Would it be more effecient at airflow and cooling or just too big?
  19. Ill probably get the EVGA then. The noise doesnt really bother me. I thought it was but it was a highly recommended board. Which one you listed would you recommend? Thanks for the RAM. I thought 1600mhz was fine but I will most likely be playing some FPS games so this will come in handy. I thought about getting the 4790k because lf hyperthreading but people said the polymer thermal material made it run hotter and therefore people said it would need ample cooling for OC. Is this just exaggerrated or is it really that much hotter? For the CPU cooling, I dont have it mainly because I dont plan to OC until after I build it and make sure it is running well. For the PSU, I simply havent researched them.
  20. WHat do you guys think about clear acrylic cases? I think they lok cool but would this http://www.xoxide.com/xopacl1.html or this http://www.xoxide.com/xopacl2.html look cool or are they just flashy and not worth it? If not those, I was either going to go with the Fractal Design Arc Midi R2(like Hoofhearted) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811352031 or this Gorsair Graphite 760T case http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Graphite-Series-Tower-Windowed/dp/B00P7TPYI2/ref=dp_ob_title_ce
  21. I will take a look at them. Can anyone tell me the difference between the MSI and EVGA GTX 970? Thanks for all the recommendations guys. It helps alot.
  22. I would guess and say yes but games like Fallout and Skyrim are VRAM intensive when running lots of mods like weapon and armor mods and texture packs. They are also pretty CPU intensive as well, given the large amount of scripts due to the open worldspace. A good CPU and GPU with lot of VRAM is what you want. With things like an ENB or Texture packs and weapon and armor mods, definitely a nice 3gb or 4gb GPU with a nice OC'ed CPU. If I remember correctly, Skyrim uses as much RAM as it needs and not a locked amount like Fallout 3 and New Vegas, so you may want more than 8gb when running all those quest mods(scripts and usually graphical stuff) and texture packs and weapon/armor mods(VRAM. Nothing but) for Skyrim specifically. Im not very knowledgeable about all of the tech stuff but from what I've read it is better to get good everything. The more RAM, the more consistent and reliable, the better the CPU, the better reliability and higher frame rate9which helps with stability), the better GPU is better visual quality and higher VRAM means even more visual quality with even more room for even better visuals. It seems like no matter what genre, you pretty much need everything for everything else to run better. My advice is to not skimp. Get it now and not worry about it later. Besides, its a better rig in the end. Its pretty much a win-win except for price.
  23. They are just terrorists. The Islamic State is a front and a fraud. There is one thing that separates Nationalism and Terrorism, and that is killing innocents. ISIS kills innocents for little to no reason or to prove the point of "Fighting for Allah!" when what they really want is to cause destruction. The only thing the truly separates us from them is that we dont just shove bombs into the private parts of African children and blow up a market because "Capitalism is the Devil and we fufill Allahs will" Dont get me wrong, i dont have anything against Islam or Muslims, its the sick people who kill others for "Allah" It makes as much sense as the "protests" in Baltimore. I will throw a TV into that Best Buy over there and steal a printer because this guy randomly died for an unknown cause. Because the white man did it, the racist cops who hate blacks did it. Thats why. Now Im going to shove bombs in dead goats to kill Americans because Allah.
