tony007
How? I used the GECK and i right-clicked on the assault rifle (for example) and i see nothing that looks like the item's ID. Where do i find this so that i can spawn all the things i want to?
sombrehombre
I think IDs for mods are regenerated every time the game is loaded, and Geck didn't help. Download FO3Edit, which emulates FO3 startup and gave me the correct IDs (in the right-hand pane).
tony007
So the GECK can't obtain an object's ID so that u can use to spawn that item? And the Item's ID changes everytime the game starts? What? I used the FOMM to find the ID's, but and the GECK can't do this?
sumoftwosins
To get the ID numbers, you need FO3Edit. Load the esm and then drop down the lists to find the numbers. The GECK, to my knowledge, does not display them. Only the Form ID Name.
Smosh
And the Item's ID changes everytime the game starts? What? I thought it was only NEW items (from using an esp) that will have a different ID depending where they are in the load order. Anything default loaded from the Fallout.esm will keep its number. Don't right click on the Assault Rifle in GECK just let the mouse hover over the item and its ID will be shown to you. It should be 0001FFEC
