hyperactivechild
I loaded a nif into 3ds then edited it. I exported the nif using these settings. I then opened this nif and the original nif into nifskope, and transferred my objects to the original using copy/paste of block items. I did this to preserve the collisions. When I am in GECK I take the original nif, rename it to a new item, then attempt to load my nif replacing the old one. This is when GECK crashes. Any ideas? TrickyVein
Your export settings from max are probably fine. What's at issue is going to how blocks are named inside of Nifskope. When you cut and paste blocks from one .nif into another, they are renamed automatically and can end up sharing the same name as another block within the list. This is taboo. The same applies for the names of materials within NiTriStrips.
