Thor.
Pff You are on Origin, better back up and isolate it fast with sandboxie, it'll track your instant messages and whatever you do online. just a helpful suggestion, wouldn't touch it even if offered me a free game. http://www.sandboxie.com/ Maybe someone else would be willing, i had to warn you. I am just letting you know of the risks of having orign on your pc, its spyware in its truest form. Edited June 14, 2013 by Thor.

I am just letting you know of the risks of having orign on your pc, its spyware in its truest form. yes i knew all of that. and i knew about sandboxie. but i honestly just dont care. if it comes back to haunt me, then feel free to say i told you so, but i know plenty of people with it and none of them have ever said anything about it. besides, im sure my information is already on the internet. every time you give your name to anything, or buy something, your stuff is somewhere on the internet, even if its private its there. NSA has tapped googled and yahoo and apple and microsoft and many other to get info, so we are already not private regardless of what program you decide not to install...the PSN being hacked didnt scare me off (did cancel and change my listed card though) so this, even if its as bad as you think, isnt any worse. Thor.
I understand, i am just concerned about your privacy  it does more than what's probably already on the Internet, its personal account information, Credit card information, anything that is personal to you is being tracked via Origin, even Documents, it digs really deep, and trying to remove it simply won't work. Thats how far imbedded it is on your system, you need a special app to remove it. Again you don't have to take my advice, i am only concerned thats all. , Edited June 14, 2013 by Thor. hoofhearted4
haha well i appreciate it Thor, but i knew about it all going into it. as i said, a few million people use it (and i do personally know others, and ive had it before on my old laptop) i havent read anything recently about somebody getting killed or having ID Theft that was traced back to Origin. maybe that doesnt mean it hasnt happened, but still, if they take all the info, but nothing comes of it, then i guess it wasnt much of an issue.like i said, my credit card info is already on Steam, PSN, Amazon, Newegg, NFL, Blizzard, Perfect World, ArenaNet, and many many others. my name, my address, birthday, probably even my SSN is all on the internet as well (in fact i think PSN asks for your SSN) all broswers track this sort of info as well, thats why adds pop up and magically offer items your interested in or offer items located near you. (unless you have Firefox, to block all those, but the info is taken, its just not in your face lol) its not to say im not cautious. i do always look for the https/SSL lock in the URL bar whenever im putting sensitive info down. i do keep all the ad block, cookie saving, ghost blocking, things on Firefox. i pay attention when a site comes up negative and avoid them. i scan my PC regularly to make sure its all good. i try my best to keep avoidable junk off my PC. but as far as Origin goes, im fine with it. ive been wanting to fry BF3 on PC for awhile now, and ME3 (i have BF3 on PS3 but havent even touched it lol) and i cant do it without Origin. though ive been able to play DA2 without Origin? frakle
Ugh. Battlefield. I lost all respect for the franchise after the absolute trash that was BF3. Worst 60$ I've ever spent.

Ugh. Battlefield. I lost all respect for the franchise after the absolute trash that was BF3. Worst 60$ I've ever spent.im not a huge FPS fan. i got into BFBC2 and really enjoyed it (on PS3)...when BF3 came out (again on PS3) the only time i played was the little Beta they had before release. and i hated it. too many Snipers and other camping at the end of the tunnel killing you as soon as you ran down. plus as far as i know not everything in BF3 is destructable, whereas all buildings and most objects were in BFBC2. as far as i know, this is the same in BF4. you may be able to take down a skyscraper, but some other things you cant. plus many people are spouting its a scripted building collapse. meaning its meant to be destroyed, and could be the only skyscraper in the game that collapses, granted this is all speculation. but that this point, where the graphics in the game are at its limit, the only thing left to do is allow total destruction of buildings. i did notice that someone blew up a tank from underneath it in the subway, which also blew a hole in the roof of the subway allowing access to the street. Thor.
This is what i mean, it has to mean something or Ea wouldn't of got the golden poo twice. http://consumerist.com/2013/04/05/ea-admits-it-can-do-better-but-blames-worst-company-success-on-homophobes-and-whiny-madden-fans/
