Ok if some of you played Free MMORPG Metin 2 then you will remember this feature:

 

Basically its about blacksmithing:

 

- The item can be destroyed when upgrading (Armor and Weapons), higher quality values have higher chance of failing (if the item is destroyed its lost forever)

 

- If player has a Blacksmith's Manual or Blessing Scroll the item cant be destroyed (if used before the upgrading) but if fails it delevel's to previous level of quality:

 

Meaning if youre upgrading from Flawless item to Legendary, it will degrade to lower level than flawless. (If youre using a Blessing Scroll)

 

The Blacksmith's Manual has the same effect but it upgrades the item to maximum level (if succed), and if it fails it returns item to normal quality.

 

Blessing Scroll can only be used once in 2 in game hours

Blacksmith's Manual once in 3 days.

 

Cost's for the items and where to find them:

 

Blessing Scroll - 5 000 Gold (General Goods or Blacksmith Rarely spawns in vendors so be careful!)

Who drops the Blessing Scroll?

Dragons and Dragon Priests (5 % chance to spawn in looting menu)

 

Blacksmith's Manual - 10 000 Gold

 

Found only on Dragons and Dragon Priests (1 % chance of Spawn)

 

When creating items:

 

The creating items will be more difficult (items required to make an item and your blacksmith's skill), the lower the skill the higher the chance to fail to create an item. To increase a chance of succesfully creating an item there are always 2-3 Blacksmith's Scrolls in Vendor (Blacksmith or General Goods), so before youre creating an item you should read the scroll first.

 

Blacksmith's Scroll Availability:

 

Every General Store or Blacksmith.

Well, I don't know about "awesome", but it would definitely be more immersive.
