.357 Mag Texture Broken HELP pls

probably in the static 1st person data fields. I surmise the problem is you need to make sure you have the correct 357revolver.nif mesh.

 

what likely happened when they retextured it the "load order" in the model itself changed and thus the data fields the esp uses when static 1st person data is entered it will apply the texture in the esp to the model file it has which could be incorrect.

 

finding where everything is, is the tricky part. try reinstalling the mesh files and make sure you have the correct esp.

so then another mod has already changed your ingame data. are you running weaponmodsexpanded or anything like that? i think there is a wmx compatibility mod out there for your retexture mod.

 

edit: i guess there isnt one available. Im running WMX myself I ended up modding alot of it to get some retexture mod to work for it. you might be SOL with this if youre running WMX with WRP

I figured out how to fix the problem, with the compatibility patch for WMX-WRP it rewrites the mesh system for the .357 magnum, when you install it don't say 'Yes for All' when it asks for you to over write the same files, click 'Yes' until you reach the mesh overwrite for the .357 and then click 'No' until you reach the overwrite for the .44 magnum then click 'Yes All' as it does not affect the other weapons. It seems to work for me.
