Gunslinger074 Posted June 24, 2021 Share Posted June 24, 2021 So I'm trying to make a bunker/player home and to do so I duplicated a cell, specifically barneys bunker in salem. (in hindsight this may not have been the best idea.) One thing that concerns me is that the location of the cell still lists it as barneys bunkers. How do I change this and also prevent any broken quests from my new cell edit? Lastly how the hell do I refresh the lighting in an interior cell? I know theres a hot key for it but I've forgotten. LimeMods Posted June 24, 2021 Share Posted June 24, 2021 Totally fine duplicating a cell. Are you referring specifically to the name of the cell by location? If so it's easiest to edit this with XEdit, it can be very frustrating to make the geck change that and it's a bit buggy. coming from FNV experience here but should be able to refresh lighting with F5. As a duplicate cell you shouldn't be messing up any quests, but you can remove any cubic or otherwise activators / characters etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Zorkaz Posted June 24, 2021 Share Posted June 24, 2021 What you need to do is 1. Create new location data from WorldData\Location. Give it the necessary keywords, like "loctypeclearable"2. Create an encounter zone from WorldData\EncounterZone and link it with your Location. Maybe check "Does not reset" or not 3. Right click on your cell in the Cell View Window and choose your location from here. Make sure it's not barneys location but your new one 4.
