StarsuckZ Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 (edited) Hey Guys  I just bought Skyrim for PC after managing to get nearly every Quest on XBOX360 done. I bought it for PC because of the mods i can extend the game with. So I downloaded some mods, but when starting the game, my character is bugged not on the backseat of the carriage but on the front seat. General Tullius and the NPCs which should open the gate to Helgen are frozen mit their arms and legs spreaded away from the body doing nothing. Because of this also the gates do not open and the carriages crush into it. These mods are installed: http://www7.pic-upload.de/19.06.13/7hidfotzb4pq.pnghttp://www7.pic-upload.de/19.06.13/eiugaykryhc.png Does anyone have a clue which mod makes this issue? :) Greetings, Lukas Edited June 19, 2013 by StarsuckZ
markus242005 Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 A couple ideas: Do you run BOSS to load order? Hideout.esm is lower than a few .esp's, which shouldn't be. All ESM's should be loaded before any ESP's. Second, You're running the Civil War Overhaul, I would check the mod description and readme for any conflict information about using it with other mods, and where they suggest it be put in your load order. Third, are you running any animation mods, I don't see any specifically in your load order, but if you are, it may affect NPC behaviors, and you should run FNIS to correct any animation faults. TL;DR 1. Download (if you don't have it) read the readme, and run BOSS.to optimize your load order.2. Check Civil War Overhaul mod page and readme for conflicts.3. Download (if you don't have it) FNIS, read the readme and run it to adjust behaviors/animations.
Andovar Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Starsuckz: I have had a similar problem every time that I activate a bunch of mods prior to starting the game. If I wait to activate the mods until the first save opportunity (just prior to being led to the chopping block for example), save and then activate the mods, everything seems to work just fine (assuming that you met all of the mod prerequisites prior to activation).

I tried multiple mods together and figured out those who are incompatible. I can activate, without any caused problems, every mod except: Fores new idles So this is an animation mod, at least it is listet in this category. What do you mean by "running FNIS"? What is this? :)
kyu1595 Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Fnis is an 3rd party application that you need to run. It's outside of skyrim and fixes animations It's called "generate fnis for users" since you downloaded the mod fnis, it should be in your skyrim folder. Run the application and allow it to patch
StarsuckZ Posted June 25, 2013 Author Posted June 25, 2013 (edited) Damn, i can't find it. It is not in the Skyrim folder :( It also says: "Run GenerateFNISforUsers after installation", but i can't find it. ____________ Yeah, found it. I run it, but NPCs are still frozen :( At least down from neck. http://prntscr.com/1bwc3f Is there anything i did wrong with GenerateFNISforUsers? The problem probably is, that there are some mods who crash FNIS, if FNIS ist not activated as the first animation mod. So which mods do I have to inactivate, then activate FNIS and then reactivate them? _____________ Okay, i did it wrong. I ran GFNIS in the winrar mod folder, not in skyrim/data/tools. Now everything is fine, thanks :) Edited June 26, 2013 by StarsuckZ
